“Love did you see my phone? Oh, it’s right there—“

Beomgyu pauses when Taehyun suddenly hugged him really tight, afraid of letting go. Beomgyu hugs him back immediately. “What’s wrong, Pretty?” Beomgyu whispered.

“Can’t you stay here tonight?” Taehyun asks in low voice. “Please?”

“Love, I’m sorry. This one’s kinda important to me,” Beomgyu reasoned. “I’ll make sure to go home right away, okay?”

Taehyun lifted up his head and looked at Beomgyu, “Can you take me with you instead?” he asks, eyes are pleading while stopping his tears.

“H-hey, hey, why are you about to cry?” Beomgyu noticed it right away and caress the younger’s face. “Love, I’m really sorry. Dad will be in there,” he answered.

“T-that’s terrible…” Taehyun whispered like a kid and Beomgyu laughs at him and kissed his forehead. “I love you,” Taehyun added.

“I love you too,” Beomgyu replied and planted a kiss. “Make sure to eat a lot, okay? I’ll update you from time to time,” Beomgyu replied.

“I’ll wait for your message,” Taehyun answered and smiles a bit.

“I’ll get going now,” Beomgyu said.

Taehyun watched him drive the car out and then left him alone. That’s when he feels a sudden coldness around him, probably because summer season is about to end or maybe it’s the sudden longing. He doesn’t really know what to feel. Anxiousness is killing him from within.

Beomgyu pulled over when he saw Soobin waiting for him on the street. He then moves to the passenger seat when Soobin went to the driver’s seat and started driving.

“Are we going to fetch her?” Beomgyu asks, looking at his phone to message Taehyun.

“No, Yeonjun already did,” Soobin replied.

“Soob, you need to stop the car,” Beomgyu said.

“Why?”

“I should go back. Taehyun can’t sleep when he’s alone—“

Soobin cuts him off, “Stop this nonsense Choi Beomgyu. The family will gather tonight and you can’t ditch them right now. Also, give me your phone,” Soobin said and open his right hand.

“No, I need to message him,” Beomgyu denied and move a little further from Soobin.

“Beomgyu, you don’t wanna mess up right now,” Soobin warns him.

Beomgyu sucks his teeth and messaged Taehyun the exact location where he’s going to be and then he lends it to Soobin. Soobin turned it off and put inside his coat’s pocket.

“This is why I already warned you about this before. You won’t fucking listen to me,” Soobin scolded him, frowning in annoyance.

“Soobin you know that I love him,” Beomgyu shots back in low voice.

Soobin didn’t shoot back anymore and just continued driving. He knows what Beomgyu’s feeling and he can totally understand it but he’s just doing his job. He can’t go against what has been planned for Beomgyu.
