Reversal 4

“Bye love! See you later at home!”

“Take care and study well, love. See you later. Fighting for today!” Beomgyu cheered back after he dropped of Taehyun in front of their school.

Taehyun wave his hands for the last time before entering their campus but then he forgot to ask something to Beomgyu but he already saw him riding away.

“Oh… why is he going that way when his school is that way?” Taehyun wondered but just shrugged the thought and went inside the campus.

Taehyun sits on his seat and open his notebook. “Taehyun!”

“Oh, hello Kai!” Taehyun greeted his classmate, friend.

“I saw someone dropped you off with a bike, who was that?” the friend named, Hueningkai asked.

“Oh… it’s my boyfriend. He’s handsome, right?” Taehyun chuckles, bragging a little.

Hueningkai nods. “Yeah, I didn’t know you have a boyfriend tho?” he commented. “But I was planning to ask you out—“

“Wait what?”

“No, I mean with the guys. We’re going to KTV later. Wanna join us?” Hueningkai invited.

“I’m sorry… but I can’t,” Taehyun rejected. “I have so much things to do,” Taehyun ended.

“Ah really? But it’s my treat! Come on! Just join us, please? Just this time!” Hueningkai insisted.

“But… okay then,” Taehyun agreed after and his friend started rejoicing.

Well, it’s not bad to have some fun too, right? It’s not that bad unless you didn’t tell your boyfriend about it.

“Student Choi Beomgyu, what the hell is this?” Beomgyu’s adviser, Mrs. Lee, his room adviser, asked with his brows raised and looking at the paper Beomgyu handed.

“I’m dropping out.”

“I already know it, Beomgyu but why? Huh? I get it that you don’t attend school for weeks now because of your work but you’re about to graduate from being a senior. Are you really going to slip this off? I told you we can help you out,” Mrs. Lee, convinced the student.

Beomgyu looked away so the teacher speaks again. "Look, if this is about the CSAT, it's fine if you won't take. There's Civil Exam, Beomgyu. Please, don't be like this," she tried to convinced him one again.

“No, ma’am. I’m firm with it and I already decided. I can just study again or what. I just needed to work and earn right now,” Beomgyu reasoned. “I’m sorry,” he apologized and bows his head.

“Beomgyu, you should tell this to your parents at least. I can’t drop you out like this,” Mrs. Lee insisted.

“I don’t have parents. I’m sorry, I’ll excuse myself now,” Beomgyu replied and walks out from the teachers office, leaving Mrs. Lee just sighs.

Choi Beomgyu went out of their school and rides his bike towards Mr. Jung’s chicken shop. “I’m back, Mr. Jung!”

“Hey! You’re here again? Didn’t I tell you to go to school?” Mr. Jung scolded him like a father.

Beomgyu just chuckles. “I’m a regular employee now, Boss Jung! Please welcome me!”

“My goodness this kid!”

Mr. Jung left no choice but to just let Beomgyu work inside his busy shop for the whole day. He wants to help the kid and he doesn’t have any rights to stop what is Beomgyu’s decision.

It’s already four in the afternoon and Beomgyu’s been waiting for Taehyun at the intersection but he still not there. Beomgyu waited for another minutes because sometimes Taehyun really went home late if he has some projects to do.

But it’s already dark, past six pm, and he’s also late for his night job.

“Love, I’m sorry—“

“Why are you so late?” Beomgyu cuts him off and he saw another guy beside Taehyun. “And who are you?”

“Ah Beomgyu, he’s Hueningkai, my classmate,” Taehyun introduced the tall guy.

“Hello, I’m Hueningkai. I’m sorry if Taehyun comes home late. We went to KTV with our other classmates,” Hueningkai apologized and reasoned out.

“Thanks for taking him home,” Beomgyu coldly replied and then hold Taehyun’s wrist and pulled closer to him. “Let’s go home,” he said and hoped on his bike.

“Bye Kai! Thank you it was fun!” Taehyun shouted before he gets on the bike.

Beomgyu is silent the whole ride until they both gets off and went inside their house together. “Love, are you mad?” Taehyun asks the other.

“No,” Beomgyu shortly replied and takes off his clothes.

“You are… I’m sorry, love. I couldn’t send you a message and I just had a little fun,” Taehyun apologized, voice is lower than usual.

“It’s fine,” Beomgyu replied again with same cold sound.

Taehyun went closer to Beomgyu and hugs Beomgyu’s bare back. “I’m sorry, it won’t happen again. Please? Please? I’m sorry, love,” Taehyun apologized again, acting like a kid.

Beomgyu sighs and turn around to see Taehyun. “Okay love, don’t do it again okay? Or just tell me beforehand about it so I won’t worry that much. I love you. I’m sorry if I acted that way,” Beomgyu stated and smiles.

“I love you too,” Taehyun replied and tip-toed a little to kiss Beomgyu’s lips. “I’m sorry again.”

“Okay, love. But I gotta go now, I’m late for my work,” Beomgyu said.

“Oh right! Sorry! And you haven’t eaten yet. Oh my God! I’m so sorry, love,” Taehyun panicked and worriedness is visible in his face.

“It’s okay. I’ll leave you first, hmm? Sleep early,” Beomgyu answered and smiles.

“A-are you sure? I don’t have class tomorrow, can I go with you?” Taehyun suggest.

Beomgyu shook his head. “I’m fine. You should take a rest now.”

“Okay, love. See you later.”
