“I’m sorry, Love. I gotta stay with Hueningkai tonight.”

Beomgyu nods and smiles. “Okay, Love. I’ll just drop you off—“

“No, oh my God!” Taehyun quickly rejected. “H-he might see us,” he reasoned.

“Silly,” Beomgyu giggles as he stepped on gas. “I’ll drop you off at the bus station, Love. Chill,” he corrected.

“O-oh… Gosh,” Taehyun reacted out of embarrassment and then bit his lowerlip. “I’ll make up on you,” he said.

“No worries and are you going to live with me again— I mean, stay in the house,” he corrected because the younger might misunderstand the statement again.

“I-I’ll talk to… Kai about it,” Taehyun answered.

“Sure,” Beomgyu agreed with a positive tone.

Taehyun just hold on tight on Beomgyu’s hands as he looks at the outside window. “I’m sorry… if we’re in this kind of situation, Beomgyu,” he suddenly apologized.

“Don’t be sorry, please? I am actually… actually who should say that,” Beomgyu stated, voice is sincere, can’t even look at Taehyun.

“We’ll get through this, right?”

Beomgyu glance at Taehyun and he smiles. “Of course, Love. As long as we have each other,” he assured.

Taehyun chuckles by it and heard a vibrate sound from the bag that’s on the backseat. He let go of Beomgyu’s hands first to reach it because he knows it’s Beomgyu’s phone. He opens the bag and saw an unregistered number calling him.

“Love, someone’s calling you,” Taehyun informed.

“Who? Let me see,” Beomgyu said and glanced at his screen when Taehyun showed it to him. When he saw the caller number he quickly swiped the end call button. “It’s unregistered, don’t mind it. We’re near,” he then stated.

Taehyun just nods and put the phone back to the bag but then another vibrate was felt and it’s a message. Taehyun accidentally reads it. “Love—“

“Oh, I think it’s the last bus already. You should get in there,” Beomgyu noticed the bus’ arrival.

Taehyun just shoved the phone on the bag. “Oh! I gotta go!” he panicked and kissed Beomgyu’s lips before getting off. “See you at work, President! Thank you for today, you did well too!” he cheered before running towards the bus.

Beomgyu chuckles as he saw the love of his life running adorably towards the bus and gets in there. Then his smiles fade when he heard his phone vibrating again. He muttered a curse before answering it.

“I’m coming, wait for me,” he just said before ending the call and accelerated the car.

Days passed and the set up was still the same; Taehyun cheating on Hueningkai, Beomgyu becoming even more sweet on Taehyun outside work, Taehyun who’s sleeping with Beomgyu from time to time, Hueningkai who can feel a gap between him and his boyfriend, and Taehyun who’s busy with Beomgyu that he didn’t even noticed he’s already becoming more cold towards Hueningkai.

“Babe, it’s your day off tomorrow, right?” Hueningkai asks while washing the dishes, completely healed.

“Yes, babe. Why?” Taehyun asks as he folds their dry laundries.

“Where should we go tomorrow? Same place?” Hueningkai suggested.

“Oh…” Taehyun sounded and pause on what’s he’s doing. “Shouldn’t we just stay at home?” he replied.

Hueningkai puts down the plate he’s holding and looks back to where his boyfriend. “Babe, but tomorrow?”

Taehyun stared at him back. “Tomorrow, yes. Why?” he frowns because he’s confused.

“I’m really gonna sulk, Babe. For real,” Hueningkai complaints and even pouted.

“Ah…” Taehyun hasn’t still any idea yet. “Babe? Is there an occasion or something…?”

“Babe, it’s our anniversary,” Hueningkai informed him and sighs then turns his back, feeling disappointed.

Taehyun gasped and quickly went to his boyfriend’s direction and hugs him from the back. “Oh my God, babe. I’m so sorry, I really am! Sorry, Babe! I just got so busy, you know that. I’m sorry,” he apologized.

Hueningkai remained still as he sulks and Taehyun continued to say sorry for a minute before Hueningkai finally gives in to his cute boyfriend.

“Let’s celebrate it tomorrow, okay? There’s a new park by the shore, I want to take you in there,” Hueningkai said and smiles.

“Yes babe! Let’s go! I’m really sorry,” he apologized again and chuckles.

“I love you,” Hueningkai.

“I… I love you too!” Taehyun quickly ended the statement.

Today is their anniversary. Hueningkai managed to borrow a car from a friend and they went to the said park. There are tables and benches all over the place and food stalls. There are also families, couples, and group of students that are chilling around the area.

“On our next anniversary, we’re going to a fine dinner!” Hueningkai said, enthusiastically.

Taehyun awkwardly chuckles. “R-right,” he just agreed and looked at the shore. “This place is great,” he just commented while looking around too.

“Babe, it’s been how many years already… We’re really going to push through this, right? Family,” Hueningkai stated.

Taehyun stares at him and smiles. “I hope so… I hope we will,” he answered. “Because we’ll never know.”

Hueningkai looks down because of his lover’s answer. Something really changed. “We’ll do everything to make it happen, right?” he added a question.

Taehyun smiles and nods, “Sure,” he agreed. “Don’t worry about the future, let’s just wait for it. Let’s just… enjoy what’s today,” he continued. “And thank you for taking me in here,” he added and rested his head on Kai’s shoulder to hide his face.

He can’t tolerate it anymore. He’s been lying form Hueningkai for how many days now and he’s still confused if he should break up with him or what. Taehyun’s sure about Beomgyu but still he can’t break up with Hueningkai that fast.

Taehyun doesn’t know what to do anymore.

“Babe, can I ask you something?” Hueningkai asks, tone is a bit serious.

“Hmm, what is it?” Taehyun answered, feeling nervous.

“What if Beomgyu comes back?” he asks.

Taheyun bit his lowerlip. “What do you mean?” he acted confused.

“Like… he’ll comeback. I don’t know? What are you going to react? Like how are you going to feel?” Hueningkai elaborated the question.

“I…” Taehyun pauses, thinking of the right answer. “I don’t know…” he answered. “Confused? Guilt? Happy? Relief? I don’t know,” he continued and sits up straight to look at Hueningkai. “Why did you ask?”

“He’s here… Behind you. It’s Choi Beomgyu, right?”
