"Congratulations, our Taehyun!"

Taehyun let out chuckles and look at his ring finger then he stares, purses his lips, and wipes his tears. He knows he just fucked up. Then his attention grabs when Hueningkai's arm wrapped around his waist and made him turn around so he can see him properly.

"I love you, Babe," Hueningkai whispered and kissed Taehyun's forehead.

"I love you too," Taehyun replies and smiles then he hug him. "I... I didn't expect this," he whispered under his breath, stopping his tears.

"Did I startle you?" Hueningkai chuckles and rubs the other's back. "I don't want to lose you," he whispered.

Taehyun grabs the hem of Kai's clothes, he holds it tight while biting his lower lip. He wanted to say something but words doesn't want to come out from his mouth. Everything is already at the tip of his tongue but he doesn't have the courage to say even a word about his real feelings.

"Goodness!" Kai's mom reacted and laughs so they all look at her. "I knew you two will really get married," she giggles. "Our Taehyun is a really hard worker and always puts family first and our Kai here is also working hard for everyone. With both of your efforts, you two can really build a great family!" she proclaims.

Hiyyih laughs as well, "Right! Taehyun's actually working at a big company! Wow! And bro's going to get promoted soon, right? I can see a bright day ahead!" she added and raised her glass that has beer in it.

Taehyun just half smile at them and look at his sister as if he's waiting to hear something from her. "Our parents are really happy about this, lil bro," she just stated with a smile.

Taehyun smiles wider in relief. He thought he's going to comment something about his work too. He's just kind of tired hearing the same thing over and over again. So what if he's working at a big company? Does it change something? Maybe there is—actually, there are a lot of changes happen since he started working in there.

The celebrate last until midnight, Kai's family went home while Taehyun's older sister stayed over and decided to sleep on the sofa as she's already drunk. The couple is inside their room, Hueningkai's serenading Taehyun with some love songs and Taehyun singing along with it.

What's inside Taehyun's mind? Or is he still on his proper mind? Mindlessly saying 'yes' to an engagement to a person he clearly doesn't love anymore as he used to be.

"Babe?"

"Hmm?"

"You stopped singing," Hueningkai noticed and hold the other's hand. "Why? I love hearing your voice," he said.

Taehyun smiles and gestured Kai to move closer to him. Hueningkai gently sets aside the guitar and went beside his lover. Then as they both leans on the headboard, Taehyun also leans his head on the other's shoulder.

"Why? Why did you propose to me?" Taehyun ask in his gentle voice.

"Because I love you... I don't want to lose you, I need you, I just... really love you," Hueningkai answered. "I'll work hard for us, I'll save us a lot for us, I'll buy a house for us too! I will do everything for us," he stated his plans.

Taehyun smiles, a sad one but it's too dim in their room for Kai to see it plus Taehyun's looking below, "Man of plans as always... I like it," he commented and looks at Hueningkai's eyes. "Please love me... Love me Hueningkai because I might change my mind."
