Reversal 3

“Hey kiddo! Three deliveries on XX Apartment, faster!”

“Yes!” Beomgyu answered and quickly finished the table he’s cleaning and proceed to the counter to get the packed food and the helmet. “I’m off!”

“Take care!” the owner yelled at him as he saw Beomgyu walking away. “I thought he’s only working here at weekends, why is he in here? Also last week he’s also in here,” Mr. Jung, wondered and just shrugged it off.

Beomgyu managed to deliver all the deliveries and went back to the chicken shop he’s working at and then he noticed the time and it’s almost four in the afternoon. His shift is done.

“I’m done for today, Boss Jung!” Beomgyu exclaimed while taking off his apron and uniform.

“Okay, okay, take care,” Mr. Jung answered and Beomgyu proceeds to the staff room to take his bag and went out. “Oh, Beomgyu have this. It’s a cancelled order, you can have it,” Mr. Jung stops Beomgyu from walking while handing a box of chicken.

“R-really? Thank you so much Boss Jung!” Beomgyu exclaimed and smiles so widely when he receives the box. “Thank you so much!” he added before he finally left the shop.

Beomgyu takes his bike and started riding towards their neighborhood. He still has an hour before his next job in a convenient store. He waited at the intersection where Taehyun will be and he smiles when he saw his lover.

“Love!” Beomgyu called and wave his hand.

Taehyun smiles widely and wave his two hands then run towards Beomgyu and hugs him. “Oh! It’s chicken! You bought one?” Taehyun asks with such excitement, looking at the box.

“Nope! My boss gave it to me! He’s really kind as always,” Beomgyu replied. “Hop on so we can dig in,” he added.

“Yes!” Taehyun exclaimed again then takes his seat at the backseat sit of Beomgyu’s bike and the wheels moved.

Taehyun envelop his arms on Beomgu’s waist and since they are living on an elevated place, they can see the establishments below and some of the roads.

The both arrived at their rooftop apartment, where the rent does not cost much because it’s just small, and they both changed into their casual clothes.

“I’ll just cook some rice first,” Taehyun said and went to their small kitchen.

“Don’t you have some assignments to do? You should do it first, I’ll cook,” Beomgyu suggested.

“I have, but I’ll do it later. We need to eat already because you still have work at six, right?” Taehyun insisted.

Beomgyu smiles and hugs Taehyun from behind then kissed the younger’s cheeks. “I love you, love,” Beomgyu whispers.

Taehyun giggles and hold Beomgyu’s hand that is on his stomach and then he looks sideways to see Beomgyu. “I love you more, love,” Taehyun replied and they kissed each other.

The couple is already content with each other. They might be not fancy as the others. They might don’t often go out for a date like others. They may not be able to buy gifts for each other and yet they still love each other.
