“Where are you taking me?”

Taehyun has been asking the same question for the past hour now. They are inside Beomgyu’s car and he doesn’t know where they are going. Good thing Taehyun didn’t jumped out of the car because Beomgyu has been silent the whole ride or maybe he just really want to stay in the other’s presence as well.

“Just stay still in there. I don’t want you to walk away again,” Beomgyu stated.

“You’re kidnapping me,” Taehyun rolled his eyes and looked at the outside that he can’t see anything either. “Are you going to kill me and bury me in here?” he asked again.

“Buried something else in you maybe,” Beomgyu whispered under his breathe.

“What did you say!?” Taehyun obviously heard it.

“Nothing,” Beomgyu just replied.

After another set of minutes, Taehyun’s already sleeping. They arrived at the rest house and that’s when Beomgyu wakes him up. When Taehyun realize where they are he scoffs as he get off.

“Oh right, a place where no one’s gonna hear me screaming for help? Okay, Beomgyu,” he stated.

Beomgyu just squeezes his eyes to control his mouth to argue. They went inside and Beomgyu open the lights outside and on the living room. Taehyun takes a seat and stared at Beomgyu who’s also sitting across.

“First, I want you to calm down—”

Taehyun cuts him off, “I am calm.”

“Okay good. Now listen to me, Kang Taehyun. I want to say sorry for everything. For lying, for making you cheat, for disturbing your life again. I want to say sorry to every misunderstanding and hiding I did,” Beomgyu apologizes.

Taehyun is just staring at him expressionless. Beomgyu continued, “My dad, as you know, did everything so I can be the President of the company and I did everything to because he said that if I’m successful enough, I can do whatever I want—and I believed him. I studied hard, did everything he said, trained hard, until this. Then I wanted you again because I thought I can control things now but turns out… my dad deceived me.”

Taehyun was shock by that. He doesn’t know that Beomgyu experienced such hard way while he’s away with him. Taehyun thought Beomgyu had an easy way after finding his real family.

“How about Shainne?”

“I already meet her before but I didn’t know their plan and Shainne doesn’t know you either. I kept the fact about you with the help of Soobin and Yeonjun that’s why please don’t be mad at her, it was all my fault. She’s feeling sorry about what happened too,” Beomgyu answered.

Taehyun pursed his lips. “You know Beomgyu? All I want is to rest,” he muttered.

“Taehyun…” Beomgyu called him and went closer to him. He bent down his knees, both hands are on his lap, and head hangs low. “I-I… I want to spend more time with you…”

“Is that even possible now? You’re getting married…” Taehyun gulps, feeling a lump on his throat and eyes started too heated.

“We’re just really going to end like this?” Beomgyu asks, looking at Taehyun. “I did everything too, Taehyun. I left you but you aren’t the one who got hurt, me too…”
