Reversal 40

“Babe? Babe... Taehyun.”

Hueningkai sighs and fixed his eyes at the ceiling. Tears started to form on the corner of his eyes after his right hand brushes the other side of the bed but it’s empty, he’s alone on the bed.

He silently gets up and went out without creating any silence and then he went near the windows that are right through the outside. He made a small opening and he stood beside the wall while hearing Taehyun’s voice outside their house.

Taehyun is chuckling in low sounds, probably doesn’t wanted to let anyone hear his voice in the middle of the night. “I’m on leave… Yeah… Of course… Can’t wait to see you too… Right now? Kai’s sleeping already… I’ll come, I can make up excuses—“

Hueningkai didn’t let himself finish what Taehyun’s saying and he went back on bed, hugged a pillow, and just forced himself to sleep. Acting like he didn’t hear anything, acting like this never happened.

When did Hueningkai started to witness this? When did Hueningkai started to feel the change? It was ever since Taehyun got his new job.

Hueningkai knew and felt there’s already changes but he decided to ignore those and tried to fix things for them but then problem keeps on arising making him get stuck on pretending there’s nothing wrong.

Kai doesn’t know who the other guy is but he never knows Taehyun will do such thing because he can’t see it right through him. When he felt at lost by the situation, his last resort is to secure Taehyun is still his.

And that’s why he sudden proposed on him but when he think it’s enough for Taehyun to stay… he was wrong.

The night after Hueningkai fetch Taehyun under the rain, for the first time Taehyun initiated to make love. They were kissing, slow moans escaping their mouths as they slowly undressing themselves but then Hueningkai heard a sudden low sobs.

“Babe? H-hey, are you okay? Why are you crying?” Hueningkai asks in worried.

“I-I’m sorry… I’m just out of myself… I love you,” Taehyun replied and tried to smile.

Hueningkai bit his lowerlip and hugged the other. He doesn’t know what’s really going on with Taehyun since the other doesn’t tell problems and don’t really have the time to talk about serious matter.

“It’s okay… It’s okay. Let’s just sleep, okay?” Hueningkai kissed his forehead, dressed him up and  he laid him on bed.

Hueningkai hugs him as they sleep but it’s already in the middle of the night but Taehyun is still wide awake. He couldn’t sleep and guess who’s inside his mind?

Choi Beomgyu.

Taehyun gets up on bed, slowly removing Hueningkai’s arms that wrapped around him and he went outside of the house. He dialed Beomgyu’s number without any reason at all, he just wants to hear the older’s voice.

He wants to hear Beomgyu right now.

Beomgyu who’s having an important dinner event with his dad and other higher up of the company, didn’t notice that someone’s already calling him. Taehyun waited for more, called for more, but Beomgyu didn’t answer.

Taehyun bit his lowerlip as he ended the call and went back inside. He takes a seat on the sofa and he just spaced out for more hours, he lost track of time. He’s just staring at the wall without any movement and lost inside his thoughts.
