Reversal 6

“I’m sorry Beomgyu… Let’s just break up.”

Beomgyu gasps as he heard what Taehyun stated when they both arrived at their house. His jaw clenched and tears is about to pour out. He looked at Taehyun who’s looking at him as well with painful eyes.

“Why Taehyun? Why!? You’re breaking up with me because there’s someone new that can give you all you need? You’re breaking up with me because… Because I’m nothing to you know?” Beomgyu yelled, tears streaming down.

Taehyun nods, not letting the tears escaped from his eyes. “Yeah, that’s right. I’m sorry, I’m just so sick of you already. I regret being with you all these years, Beomgyu.”

“Fuck,” Beomgyu cursed. “You’re sick of me? You regret being with me? Why? Because I don’t have money? Because I can’t give you want that bastard can? Tell me Kang Taehyun!”

“Yes! Yes why!? D-do you really think I will appreciate the fact that you dropped out of school just to support me!? Am I that a baggage for you, Beomgyu? You decided to stop studying for me? When all these years we’re planning things together!?” Taehyun yelled in anger and tears are already flowing down.

“I d-did it… I did it for you, Taehyun. My future is not bright as yours. My parents abandoned me but you still have! Your parents are rooting for you to be successful and I love you so much that it’s fine for me to just stop just for you to continue and run for your dreams because I know you can make it!”

“Stop please… Stop it now. I don’t want to hear anything from you. What you did is not and will never be acceptable, Beomgyu. Let’s break up.”

“Taehyun no please, I’m sorry. I’ll go back to school, just don’t leave me Taehyun. You’re the only one I have, p-please. Please Taehyun,” Beomgyu pleaded and tried to hug Taehyun but Taehyun pushed him away.

“Go away, please. Staying with you… we’ll just hurt each other.”

Beomgyu begged. He begged and begged for Taehyun to forgive him and get back to him. Beomgyu didn’t go and just stay inside their house to please Taehyun but Taehyun started inviting Hueningkai inside their house.

That’s the worst.

“Love! I passed my exams…” Beomgyu’s voice lowers when he saw something awful inside his house.

He saw Hueningkai kissing Taehyun and their eyes meets. Beomgyu inhales and continued walking inside. “I-I manage to do it despite of having absence, l-love…” he continued, turning a blind eye to what he just saw, feeling a lump in his throat.

“I’ll come back tomorrow, Taehyun. See you at school,” Hueningkai said and then went out of the house.

Taehyun didn’t react anything and just walks towards the room. Beomgyu followed him after that and he saw Taehyun reading some books. “Taehyun… My love… Please, forgive me,” Beomgyu begged.

“I’m studying, stop talking,” Taehyun coldly replied and grips his pencil to write.

“I-I’m doing my best here, love. I’m back at studying and I’m still able to work—“

“Fuck it,” Taehyun growls and looked at Beomgyu with such annoyance. “Can’t you shut the fuck up? I told you I’m studying! Get out!” Taehyun taunted.

Beomguu gasps and bit his lower lip but he didn’t listen to what Taehyun said and instead went in front of him and kneels as he cries. The younger’s just looking down on him without any emotion to be read.

“Taehyun… I’ll do anything for you… please. I-if you want to keep Hueningkai with you, I’m fine! I can manage! J-just… just don’t make me feel like this… please,” he begged.

“We already broke up, Beomgyu. Get lost,” Taehyun stated in his cold voice.

“I-I’ll do the chores, I’ll study hard, I’ll work hard for us— for you. Just please… p-please Taehyun keep me beside you too. I’m sorry,” Beomgyu bawled.

“I don’t love you anymore. I… I love Hueningkai more than you. He can give me what I want without sacrificing a thing and… and he’s honest at me. We’re done Beomgyu.”

Beomgyu heard those words without any remorse or care. Taehyun passed by him and walk out of the door. Beomgyu ended crying so hard on the floor, regretting everything that he need.

He never knew. Beomgyu never expected that loving Taehyun too much will ended up like this. He never thought that what he think was the best will be the end of everything.

How? How can Taehyun just throw away what they cherished for years just by a single mistake? Why Taehyun did chose to get comforted by another guy instead of fixing things?

Later that night when Taehyun open the door, the lights are closed and his eyes roamed around and he didn’t feel any other presence. He opens the light and he saw something on the table. It’s a white thick envelop.

Hands are shaking, Taehyun extended his hand to pick up the envelope and opens it. His eyes widen and he gasps when he saw how much money are in there.

“B-Beomgyu? Beomgyu!?” he shouted his lover’s name and open the room but he’s not in there, clothes are untouched.

He walks out and looked from above and wandered his eyes below and there’s no sign of him. Tears started streaming down and he shakes in cold and anxious.

“B-Beomgyu… where are you?” he cries as he takes the stairs and started running around to look for the older.

But Choi Beomgyu is nowhere to find.

Taehyun comes back to their house and then noticed a crumpled paper under the table. He picks it up and fixes it and he fall down on his feet when he started reading what’s on it.

Loud sobs are heard inside the small room. Tears drastically falling and he shakes in pain and guilt. “Beomgyu, I’m sorry,” he muttered between his sobs. He’s holding on to that crumpled paper and even hugs it as he cries.

“I’m sorry, my love. Please take care of yourself. I hope we’ll see each other again and if we did… if we will… I hope everything’s still the same.”
