“Where are we heading to?”

“At XX District,” Beomgyu casually replied and pulled the door of the front seat as he seats on. “Why?” he noticed Taehyun suddenly stiffen.

“N-nothing,” he answered and then started the engine and accelerated.

“Are you bothered because we’re going to where we used to live together?” Beomgyu asks, looking outside the window.

“M-me? No… I’m just— yes,” he gives up. “Why are we heading there?” he asks and glanced at his ex.

“I’m going to negotiate to someone in there… It’s been a long time already. Don’t worry, Hueningkai won’t be there, right?” he suddenly asks and looked sideways.

Taehyun accidentally pressed the breaks that made their bodies motioned to the front and back. Taehyun looked at Beomgyu and answer, “No,” he continued, “His workplace is far from here.”

Beomgyu nods, “I see, drive now.”

“Yeah,” Taehyun replied and continued driving.

“Where is he working again?” Beomgyu asks, honestly curious.

“At the Sangho toy factory, he’s also one of the candidates for promotion,” Taehyun answered and smiled a bit, feeling proud by his hardworking boyfriend.

“Sangho…” Beomgyu mentioned. “That factory is under Sangho Corporation, right? And Sangho’s one of our subsidiaries,” he stated and nods when he realizes it.

Taehyun gasp for a second. “W-wow,” he reacted. “I didn’t know that. Choi Group’s really big,” he commented. “And I’m even working for their President…”

“Isn’t it more boastful if you’ll say that the President of Choi Group is actually your ex?”

Beomgyu observes Taehyun’s reaction. He saw him purses his lips and keeps on blinking like thinking what he should answer to what he shoots back.

“No because… it’s ex.”

A smirk form on Beomgyu’s lips and looked outside through the window. “A big loss?” he retorded.

“Not really…” Taehyun answered. “You gained so much,” he added and the whole ride became quiet.

Did Taehyun’s decision of breaking up with Choi Beomgyu was really a right thing and not worthy to regret on? Well, Taehyun thinks it is but Beomgyu… Beomgyu’s still wondering why.

Taehyun parked the car at a familiar store and when they went out he suddenly feels uncomfortable. He saw Beomgyu pushed the entrance door and so he followed him. There are several customers inside, enjoying what they are eating.

“Welcome— oh!” the one who’s at the cashier greeted and stops when he saw a familiar man. “Goodness gracious! Who do we have here! It’s been a while, punk!”
