“He already left?”

Taehyun sighs and gets up when he saw that Hueningkai’s not beside him anymore as well as his bagpack. Taehyun fixed his things and open his phone to scroll on his feed but nothing’s really interesting happening so he just turn it off again and went out of his room.

“Morning mom,” Taehyun greeted his mom who’s feeding his dad. “Morning dad,” he continued and smiles before going to the kitchen.

“Son, did you process a hospital now for your dad’s chemotherapy?” his mom asks.

“Not yet mom,” Taehyun answered. “I’m about to tell Kai about it but he already left—”

“I’m here!”

Taehyun looked back and saw Hueningkai with some plastic bags with him and went to the kitchen. Taehyun saw some fresh vegetables, meat, and fruits. “Since you were still sleeping and I’m taking care of your dad I instructed him to go buy us for lunch,” his mom answered.

“So you’re close now?” Taehyun teases her and she just rolled her at him. Taehyun laughs and looked at Hueningkai. “Do you want coffee?”

“Yes sir,” Kai answered with a chuckle. “It’s your day off, right?” he asks while taking out what he bought and putting it on the fridge.

“Yes sir, why?” Taehyun replied while stirring the both cup with hot coffee.

“Let’s go to the town before I leave,” Kai invited.

Taehyun raised his brows as he feels it really suspicious, “Okay… so what gotten into you, huh?” he asks and lends the cup.

Hueningkai just winks at him and laughs then sips his coffee. “Stop looking at me like that, will you?” he reacted when Taehyun’s still trying to decipher him.

After their lunch, Taehyun and Hueningkai went to the town. They started eating some streetfoods on the park. “It’s on me,” Hueningkai stops Taehyun from paying.

Taehyun squint his eyes, “The cops will really arrest you if you don’t stope selling ‘good’ items, Kai,” Taehyun stated.

Kai just laughs and they started walking after buying some fishcakes and tteokbokki on a cup. “I’m not selling ‘good’ items, sir. I’m working decently,” Kai clarified.

“Okay, okay ,” Taehyun gave in. “Ah! It’s been a long time since I went here,” he said and looks around the park full of trees.

They reached the railings where they can see the lower part of the town and they decided to stop in there for a while, admiring the nature. “Did Beomgyu take you in a fine date?” Hueningkai asks.

Taehyun nods hesitantly, “Yeah,” he replied.

“How was it?” Kai asked.

“Great? You know those things that I always imagine… candles, flowers, wine, music— great,” he answered and munch his food.

“Good to hear it as well,” Kai smiles.

“I thought you’ll feel more sorry,” Taehyun commented.
