Reversal 41

"Take care, okay? Message me if there's anything wrong."

Hueningkai pulled Taehyun for a kiss and Taehyun smiles at him. "Stay at home, okay?"

"Of course, where should I go to? I took leave to rest, Babe. Take care!"

"See you tonight."

Hueningkai left a smile before he opens the door and went out. He then looks back at Taehyun who's smiling at him before he closes the door. Then he sighs, he has this feeling that Taehyun won't stay inside the house for the whole day.

But still he let him.

The whole day, Taehyun did is to get Beomgyu out if his mind. He started cleaning the whole house and cooks some ramyeon with spam to satisfying his cravings. He took some photos and sends it to Kai as well.

Taehyun is doing everything to get back to Kai. He thinks that's the best thing to do.

It's been three days since Taehyun last heard Beomgyu's voice. In those three days, he really tried to be a good fiancé to Hueningkai. He tried his best to act as if everything is fine and it can be fixed. Kai on the other hand is hoping that Taehyun really came back to his home now.

Not until Taehyun, again, found himself staring at Beomgyu's caller ID.

"Fuck," Taehyun cursed under his breath and leans his back against the sofa and sighs.

It's been three days and Beomgyu didn't bother to call him nor message him. Taehyun thought it was a great thing but everytime his phone sounds, he always hope it's Beomgyu. Stupid. He's so stupid for acting like this and he knows it but he can't stop.

He stands up and open the door of their room, then he saw Hueningkai sleeping alone in there. He sighs and went out of their house, then he dialed someone's number.

"Hey..."

(You called... Is there something wrong?)

Taehyun felt shivers the moment he heard Beomgyu's deep voice over the phone.

"I'm a real idiot, right?"

(No, you're not... Want to talk something? I'm free... always.)

Taehyun bit his lower lip and put down the phone, stares at the screen while the seconds are adding up as the call goes on. He's thinking if he should end the call or he should continue it. He moves his thumb towards the red button but he stops when he heard something.

(Taehyun... I miss you. When are you going to come?)

How? How can Beomgyu saying those lines are already making him feel weak and fragile? Suddenly, he wanted him. Suddenly, he wants Beomgyu's embrace, the warmth, the comfort, and Beomgyu as a whole.

And at that point, Taehyun knew, he can't get away with Beomgyu already.

"I'm on leave..."

(Did you miss me too?)

"Yeah... Of course..."

(Can't wait to see you then... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that—)

"Can't wait to see you too..."

(Can I meet you... tonight? At this moment?)

"Right now? Kai's sleeping already..."

(I'm sorry. I'm sorry, what am I even saying. I won't ask until you say you want—)

"I'll come, I can make up excuses... But not now."

(O-okay... Then, I can wait for you. I miss you, Taehyun. I fucking do...)

"I... I miss you too, Beomgyu."

At what particular reason you should give up your feelings to someone? Hueningkai knew Taehyun's cheating but he can't bring it up to his lover as he's afraid Taehyun might leave him alone. Taehyun knows he's cheating but he can speak it up to Kai as he thinks there's still doubt and confusion inside him.

Two lovers gets bind with a ring without knowing it is bound to break.

And again Hueningkai wake up without Taehyun beside him and Taehyun found himself under the dark sky, in front of Beomgyu's house, waiting for the older to open the door for him.

"I'm... home?"
