“You’ve been glancing at your phone for like hundred times now, Kai.”

Hueningkai sighs and frustratedly closes his eyes. “Taehyun’s not yet messaging me. I can’t even call him because he might be busy,” he stated.

Bahiyyih nods at him and stops scrolling at her phone. “He’s just working, no need to overthink thing. He’ll call you once everything’s over,” she consoles.

“Yeah but I’m just worried he might be overworking himself tho? He’s been working a lot since then,” he answered.

“Kai,” his sister called him. “Aren’t you scared?” she suddenly asks.

“About what?” Hueningkai frowns as he looks at her.

“About Taehyun? Like are you really sure he really loves you? What if his greatest love comeback?” she planted a question.

Hueningkai looks away, feeling bothered by the sudden question. “I don’t know,” he just replied. “It’s up to him,” he added. “I can’t blame him anyways... But I'll still try to win him."

Meanwhile at the meeting hall at Choi Group company. Soobin is discussing some plans to the board based on Beomgyu’s instruction. After a 50-minute meeting, he went up to the Director’s office because he got called.

“I’m here, Director Choi,” he greeted while he’s just by the door, far from the Director’s desk.

“Walk closer, Secretary Choi,” the Director instructed and Soobin did it right away and stops when he’s in front of his desk. “How’s President Choi’s business trip?”

“President Choi managed to seal a contract at Mulbur Enterprises and bought a share at Hazi Hotel, Director. For the future plans, he is also wants to invest at the Hybe Medical University Hospital,” he reported.

“Nice, very good,” the old man complimented and smiles at Soobin. “But why aren’t you with him?” he suddenly asks.

“President Choi assigned me to do all the indoor meetings inside the company and report to him any sudden changes while he’s away, Director,” he managed to answer but inside him, he’s already shaking.

Never. Never since Beomgyu get back to the Choi family, Choi Soobin never left Beomgyu alone especially in business meetings. He’s always there for him as his secretary.

Director Choi nods, “I see, it’s understandable. So who’s with him?”

“His personal assistant, Director. Mr. Kang Taehyun,” he gulps as soon as he answered and tries to maintain himself.

“Who? Kang Taehyun?” he repeated.

“Yes, Director,” Soobin confirmed.

“I see,” he nods again. “You know what you’re doing, right Soobin? About my son?”

“Yes,” Soobin nods. “I’ll make sure nothing will go in the wrong way, Director,” he pauses and looked directly at the old man’s eyes. “Beomgyu knows what he’s doing. If anything goes wrong, I’ll find solutions, right away.”

Director Choi smiles, amazed by Soobin’s determination and words. “Dismissed,” he stated.

Soobin bent down and then turn his back to leave. When he’s already inside the elevator that’s when he let out a really loud breath. “Fuck,” he cursed. “Beomgyu’s really going to be the caused of my death,” he added. “Argh, my head,” he groans and massaged his nape.
