"Aiden was having a great conversation with Cole. He had thought that with everything that happened yesterday with Anthony, Cole wouldn't come by to visit him.

But Cole proved him wrong when he showed up at the house. Apparently, Cole is getting married in 3 weeks and wanted to deliver Aiden's invitation in person. He had also wanted to ask Aiden to be his best man.

Aiden was very surprised by this question and didn't know what to say. He stated that Ariel was his wife's best friend and is also their maid of honor.

Cole said that for weeks, he was trying to get to him to ask him. He was an only child and he wanted someone he trusted, and he trusted Aiden.

Aiden said he wasn't big on public events, but yes, he would do it for him. He liked Cole, and he doesn't like many persons he didn't have any friends apart from his brother, so he counted that as a sign.

"So rehearsals are still ongoing, so there is a lot of time to catch up on everything, okay?" Cole said. "In terms of your tuxedo, I can let you meet with the tailor. And the good news is, you will be able to spend more time with Ariel. Thank you, I'll owe you one," Cole said.

Aiden's face changed when Cole said that, and Cole picked up on a vibe. "We all know in our society that love is not the forefront of our marriages. Duty and honor are. But I'm sure if you give it a chance, you may fall in love. Kat and I did," Cole said.

Kat and I did," Cole said

"That's you and Kat. My heart is with another," Aiden's inside voice stated. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm well. I have to go get ready to take Ariel out to lunch today, but keep me informed, and as soon as you are ready, I'll come by yours and meet the rest of the clan."

He smiled, hugged Cole, and went upstairs to shower and get ready to meet this fiancée for lunch.

Aiden thought to himself, "How the fuck am I going to manage being around people at a wedding?"
