Karlie was at his house. She finally met Carter. They were playing and painting a photo that they had drawn together. Anthony was happy, even if Karlie didn't marry him. He was happy she was able to meet Carter. It gave him a sense of peace. It was time to take Karlie back home. "Will you come to visit again?" Carter asked. She hugged him. "I will try my best dear."
Karlie," asked Carter, "Have you ever seen a farm with lots of animals before?" "No, I haven't." "One day before you go back home, I'll let your father take you to visit me, and I'll give you a tour of our farm." Was she going to give him a chance? He wanted to ask, but he didn't want to pressure her.
"Ready?" he asked. As Karlie hugged Carter once more, she kissed him on his cheek, and Carter laughed. Karlie got up and said, "Since I'm here, give me a tour of the mansion." He laughed. He hadn't smiled in a while. "There are too many rooms in this house for me to give you a full tour tonight. Okay, next time then?" "Certainly," he replied.

Wanna take a walk with me?" Anthony asked. "Sure," they went outside. Anthony's home was beautiful. It had so much land, they even had their own private beach. "So," he said as they walked, "I would hate to pressure you, but I have to ask, what will you do regarding our engagement? Will you give me another chance?" "I don't understand. Why do you want to marry me so badly? I thought you would be relieved. I mean, it would save both you and I from a loveless marriage."
"Yes, while you may be right, I have a duty to my family, and I don't want to let my parents down." "Why didn't you think to marry the mother of your child?" "You know I cannot. She isn't from our society, and while I love my son with everything in me, I can never see myself marrying her."
"Ok, I can understand that, but I am still very angry, and this scandal isn't just going to go away, so I don't know." "Ok, that's fair enough. Shall I take you home now? My driver is here." "Oh no, I insist. I took you from your house. I'm taking you back home." "Ok, no problem. If you insist, Anthony."
