Aiden's POV:
"Those who stand for nothing fall for everything".
Alexander Hamilton,As Aiden drove, he could see Reynolds following him in his rearview mirror. This was so like his father to try and control every aspect of his life. But he had a plan. He drove into a car mart, got out, Hi the sales guy stated as he walked up to him, "I need a new ride, something black but super fast. What about the car you came in? Are you selling?"
"No, I am not, but I would like to keep it here until tomorrow. I'll pick it up," Aiden replied.
"Okay, sir. Let me show you what we have here." Aiden purchased a black BMW. He knew Reynolds wouldn't expect him to change his car. As he drove off, he wondered if he should call Cara. He needed something strong, he needed to get high out of his mind. He picked up his phone and called Zion. "I need the number to your guy."
"What guy?" Zion stated.
"Just the way I asked. I think you know exactly what I mean."
"Okay, I'll text you the information. But Aiden, I'm concerned. Are you sure you're doing okay?"
"I'm solid. If I wasn't, I would let you know." He continued driving, feeling relieved when he realized he had lost his father's bodyguard. Never in his life had he ever felt this free. He needed to call his trust manager first. "I have to get to the hotel." He had located a five-star hotel suited for a king. He reflected on Raine, the stripper he met. She really was beautiful. He wondered what her story was. He smiled. "No women, Aiden. Well, not the first two nights anyways." He just needed to get high and chill.
He got to the hotel and checked in. The receptionist at the front desk was young, with dark skin, brown eyes, and thick curly hair. She had a beautiful smile, and she was indeed curvy. He thought to himself, he picked up on a flirtatious vibe. He smiled at her as he walked off. He got to his room and laid on his bed, checking his phone. As promised, Zion sent the information for his dealer guy. PS: Zion wrote, "He can come to you."
Aiden called the guy, and it picked up on the second ring. "This is Aiden."
"Oh, hey, you Zion's guy, right?"
"Yeah, so what can I do for you?"
"I'm at the Sommerville hotel. Meet me in an hour so we can talk."
"So, this is what it has come to," Aiden thought of Karlie, and all he wanted was never to think of her again. She chose Anthony over him, she took the easy way out. He laid in bed, maybe just maybe, he should find out when the receptionist gets off. He smiled to himself. He called room service and ordered dinner. He called his estate manager. "It's like 10 PM," she stated when she picked up the phone.
"Yeah, I know. Have you found me a house yet?"
"As a matter of fact, I have. Give me a week to get it ready with a staff. I know you're used to that. And I promised your mom I would make sure you and your brother were well taken care of. She knew the day would eventually come when you two would want to move out from society."
"Thank you, Lauren." It was the first time he called her by her name. "I need two bodyguards. What about your dad's?"
"I'm not at the house, and I can't trust them. I want my own. It's time. I understand. "I'll look into that as well. I don't think you understand. I need them by tomorrow. Make it happen," Aiden stated and hung up the phone. He heard room service at his door. "It's about time, come in," he stated. They served his dinner, and he ate while watching TV. As he finished dinner, he got the call. "I'm downstairs." It was the dealer. He took money out of his wallet and took the elevator down. He walked outside and sat into the parked car. "Hi," he said as he sat in the car.
