"Ariel left the Baldwin mansion. She was in the car, headed home. She knew her mother must be very frantic, but she had to do something to help her family.
She was still in shock that she told Aiden about her family troubles, but she had no choice. "Her brother deserves better," she was going to make sure he gets it.
She is sure her parents love her, her only wish was to take care of them. She was lost in deep thoughts. Aiden stated they would make plans for their future.
Deep sigh, she wished the man she was going to marry was someone she loved, but she was sure she could grow to love him.
He was a real gentleman, and she admired that much about him. Maybe it won't be all that bad being married to him.

Aiden's POV.

Aiden lay in bed, still in shock that Ariel came to the mansion. He needed to get started on planning the engagement.
His life has to go on. Karlie is getting married. There is no "us," no matter how much he loves her. He can't have her. He can't do this. He felt like he was going mad.
He laid in bed, a million thoughts going through his head. Aiden saw his brother standing in his doorway.
"So, I heard your beau was here," Andy teased. "I'm the outlaw in this family. You're always doing what is expected of you, but this, I never expected, brother." Andy laughed. "This is a surprise, having a woman over.
I mean, what would the elders in town make of this?" "Wipe that smile off your face. Miss Winter had an emergency," Aiden replied sternly.
