Aiden lay in bed, still reeling from Ariel's unexpected visit. He needed to start planning the engagement. His life had to move forward.
Karlie was getting married. There was no us—no matter how much he loved her. He couldn't have her. He couldn't keep torturing himself with what-ifs.
But it felt like he was going mad.
He lay there, a million thoughts running through his head, when he saw Andy leaning against the doorway.
