Ever since Lisa learned about Jennie's true identity, he had such a thought in his mind. He had seen how intensely Jennie doted on Leo. Therefore, he naturally knew how much Jennie liked children.
If they could have a child once again, a child that truly belonged to the two of them, would this not make the woman solely belong to him for the rest of his life?
Once the thought appeared in Lisa's mind, it seemed to have devoured his rationality. He could not care much less about others attempting this idea.
Before this, he had clearly hated the woman for using the child to tie him. Now, he could not help but wish to use the same trick to tie the same woman to him.
At that moment, Lisa finally experienced it himself. When a person fell head over heels in love with another person, he could easily lose his own rationality.
He was not an exception as well.
.
Lisa knew well that if he were to use children to tie Jennie, he could not rely on Leo alone. Therefore, he had to work harder so that Jennie would conceive one, or even a few more children for him.
If Jennie were to know what Lisa had been thinking at that moment, she certainly would have shown him her middle finger in return. What had the rascal been thinking about with childbirth?! How could he ask her to give birth to a child whenever he wanted to? Moreover, how could he decide the number of children according to his own will? Did he think that she was a machine that produced babies, and could even mass-produce a bunch of babies at a time?!
While President Manoban was finding ways to win his wife's affection, Shin-hye was busy finding ways to get close to her grandson.
As soon as the school bell rang, a group of children dashed out of the kindergarten in glee like a bird out of a cage.
Leo was held by the school teacher. He walked out of the kindergarten cutely while carrying his school bag. He was looking for Jennie among the crowd like he always does.
He could not find his mother after some time. However, he identified another familiar silhouette.
"Grandma!" Leo's large eyes sparkled. He let go of the teacher's hand and rushed over to Min-a, who was standing at the kindergarten entrance not far away from him.
"Slow down, slow down... Don't fall down..." Min-a was overjoyed when Leo called her so intimately. She instructed him while squatting as Leo threw himself into her arms. Min-a lowered her head and gave a peck on Leo's round cheek.
"Grandma, where's Mother?"
"Your mother has to handle something, so she asked me to come over to fetch you."
Leo was a little disappointed because his mother was absent. Even so, grandma's appearance had more or less given him some comfort.
Leo wrapped his arms around Min-a's neck. He replied to her obediently, "Oh, that's how it is..."
"Nice to meet you. I'm Leo's teacher. Ms. Shen..." Ms. Shen was uneasy when she saw the person who came to fetch Leo was not Jennie, so she came over to them. She greeted Min-a and others.
"Nice to meet you, Ms. Shen. I am Jennie's mother. I have heard of you before. Leo is under your care in this school. Jennie is going to be late due to certain affairs, so she asked me to come over to fetch Leo."
Looking at the closeness between Leo and Min-a, Ms. Shen placed her trust in Min-a. She smiled faintly as she said, "So, that's how it is... Leo, goodbye to you, then."
"Okay, Goodbye, teacher."
"Goodbye, Leo."
After Ms. Shen greeted Min-a and the rest, she turned around and looked after the other children.
Leo turned his head around and wrapped his arms around Min-a's neck. Only then did he realize there was another person standing behind them.
He widened his eyes and sized the person in front of him up curiously. He found the person looked spooky. Her eyes were glued to him, and they were sparkling!
That was right. Her eyes were sparkling!
In fact, when Leo attended kindergarten on his first day, Shin-hye had already met him once. However, Leo was already inside the kindergarten at that time. Jennie was around too. Therefore, Shin-hye dared not stay so close to them, and she could only watch them from afar.
Today was different from last time, she could finally see the smaller version of her son at such a close range. More so, this child was a hundred times cuter than her son. Shin-hye's heart melted.
This was especially so when she was greeted by the sight of Leo's sweetest smile that arched across his lips. The moment he buried himself into Min-a's arm, Shin-hye felt she had been struck by cupid's arrow, and she immediately surrendered herself to him.
How... How could he be so cute and adorable?! If not for fear of scaring the child, she would have grabbed the child away from Min-a and kissed, hugged and rubbed against him.
Such an obedient and adorable baby! Of course she also wanted to hug him. This was especially so when Leo lunged at Min-a and threw himself into her arms, while calling her "Grandma" so cutely... Sob... By just thinking of this, this had melted her.
As such, Shin-hye tried her best to hold back her strong desire and it resulted in the way she looked at Leo like looking at a tasty, huge meat pie, not willing to look away even if it cost her her life.
Leo felt someone staring at him for a long time. The child's innate sensitivity led to fear, and he inevitably hunched his shoulders timidly. He sought help from his closest guardian, "Grandma, who is this..."
Only then did Min-a remember she had not let Leo take a look at Shin-hye. She looked at the two back and forth several times. She felt she had been put in a difficult position.
Meeting Shin-hye's expectant gaze, Min-a hesitated for some time before she heaved a sigh, and said, "She... She's also your grandma. You may call her Grandma Shin-hye."
"Grandma Shin-hye?" Leo looked at Shin-hye in a puzzle. He looked confused.
"Yes, she's your father's mother. In other words, she is also your grandma." As soon as Min-a finished introducing her, Shin-hye was so excited that she quickly went forward to him and stated her identity.
Who would have expected the moment Leo heard the word "father", his small face instantly darkened. The images of his so-called father who had "bullied" his mother several times in front of him immediately flashed across his mind. He tilted his head and snorted smugly, "She's that bad guy's mother! I don't want to call her Grandma!"
The smile on Shin-hye's face stiffened. Her frail heart broke, and it shattered into pieces.
'Son, what have you done to my cute little grandson? He actually treats you as a heinous, wicked man, and he has even transferred his anger to his innocent grandmother!'
"Leo, how could you be so rude? If your mother were to know about this, she would be angry." Min-a never expected Leo would say such things. She was embarrassed.
The moment Leo heard that Jennie might be angry with him, he immediately looked aggrieved. He laid on Min-a's shoulder and mumbled, "Sorry..."
Although he had softened up, the way he looked at Shin-hye was filled with wariness.
Min-a was at her wit's end. She turned her head around and smiled at Shin-hye in embarrassment. She said, "We've spoiled the child. Kids don't mean what they say. I hope you wouldn't mind."
Shin-hye shook her head and she said with a gentle smile, "It's not the child's fault. In fact, what he said was true. Lisa has done them wrong."
