As Irene was staring at his face at such a close range, for a moment, she did not understand something.

She did not understand why she had been so obsessed with this person. He clearly did not remember their past. He clearly had another love. But, why was she still thinking of ways to get close to him?

Could it be that she still had expectations of this person, hoping that this person could recall all memories that they had before?

Or, it could be that all those were merely childish japes during their childhood, and he had not taken them seriously nor remembered them in his heart. Meanwhile, she had... actually taken his words seriously... Irene mocked herself as she lowered her head.

Suddenly, his hand stretched out toward Irene and grabbed her wrist that she had been holding the towel accurately.

Irene's entire body shuddered. She widened her eyes and stared at Seulgi whom she had no idea when he had opened his eyes. She reflexively wanted to retreat. "You..."

"Don't go!" Seulgi sensed Irene's retreat. A hint of nervousness unusually appeared on his reddened face as a result of drinking alcohol. He gripped Irene's hand and pulled her arm. "Jennie, don't go."

Upon hearing Seulgi's final shout, Irene's entire body turned stiff. She widened her eyes and they flickered with some sort of emotion. "You mentioned that... you liked me before... You even said... you would marry me in the future...

"But, now you are gripping my hand while calling another woman's name!"

Irene was speaking very softly, she did not look like she was speaking to Seulgi. Instead, it was more like a monologue.

Alcohol had caused numbness and temporary paralysis to Seulgi's brain. His eyes had completely lost their focal length. He vaguely saw a silhouette swaggering in front of him. He found this person inexplicably familiar.

A certain part of his chest started to stir. It quietly told him that he had to grab this person. He must catch hold of her. He must not let her leave him. He must not let go of her!

Seulgi's brain was in confusion and he naturally treated the person in front of him as Jennie. He missed this person's heat, he missed her smell. Above all, he missed the feeling that had inexplicably made his heart clenched.

"Don't go... Don't go... I like you, Jennie. I really like you. I could guarantee that my love for you is not inferior to Lisa. But... But why didn't you give me a chance? Why are you willing to accept Lisa all over again even when he used to neglect you and treat you so brutally and coldly? Why didn't you give me a chance? Why...?"

Irene shuddered. Tears that had welled up in her eyes finally streamed down on her face. However, she wiped her tears away very soon.

"Mr. Kang, you've mistaken me for someone else. I'm not the general manager. If you look carefully, I am Irene, not Jennie. Now, let go of me. Let go of me now!" While Irene was explaining himself, she tried her best to pull her hand away from him.

Unfortunately, she had underestimated the power of a drunkard who could glue himself to someone and the incomprehensible things he could do while his mind was in an unconscious state.

"Irene? Ms. Park? Jennie, you want to use Ms. Park as a shield to get rid of me again, huh?!" Seulgi's face distorted within an instant.

Irene was stunned. A piercing pain sprouted from the bottom of her heart. Before she was snapped out of her daze from Seulgi's distant calling of her as Ms. Park, a strong force abruptly pulled her arm. She was dragged, lost her balance and fell to the bed.

Her body fell onto the large and soft bed. For a moment, Irene's mind went blank. The next moment, she felt a certain heavy weight was pressed against her.

Irene was shocked. The moment she looked up, she was greeted by the sight of Seulgi's bleary eyes and his somehow, emotionless face.

Without knowing why, Irene inexplicably sensed something bad. She reflexively wanted to escape from the situation. "Mr. Kang... You... Mhm..."

Irene's pupils shrank. She watched at the certain one's face at a very close range, so close that their noses were touching. Seulgi was... kissing her?

Irene was so shocked that she forgot to fight back against him like she used to. By the time she returned to her senses and was about to struggle, Seulgi had already stopped kissing her.

"Darn you! You are..." She had cherished her first kiss for so many years and now, it was taken away by him so effortlessly. Irene found it hard to calm herself down. She reached out and wiped her lips. While she was about to cuss at him, she was rendered silent by the tears dropping on her face.

Seulgi... was crying? Irene froze while looking at the Crystalline Solarquid streaming down from Seulgi's eyes. She was at a loss.

Before Irene's brain worked again, Seulgi had once again pressed himself against her. He was hugging her body very tightly. He was crying while confessing his inner feelings to her in a humble manner by whispering in her ears, "I like you, I like you, I like you. Don't leave me. Please don't me."

The tears on her face were warm. His touching confession was still echoing in her ears. Even though she knew that she was not the person he was confessing to, she could not help but sink.

She originally had wanted to push him away. But now, her hands had turned stiff. Instead, she returned her hug to Seulgi's tightly. She let Seulgi kiss her neck passionately, she let him gradually undo her shirt, she let him press himself against her while calling another person's name...

As Irene watched the man who had pressed himself against her, she slowly closed her eyes. A tear drop gradually fell from the corner of her eyes and it dropped on the pillow. The tear quickly seeped through the pillow and vanished without leaving a trace.

Fine. Tonight would be the explanation for her unrequited love for him over the years. After tonight, she no longer had any relationship with him!

Early the next morning, the striking and dazzling sunlight shone into the house and woke the man in his heavy sleep up. At that time. The hands on the clock hanging at the wall had shifted past ten o'clock.

Seulgi rubbed his aching head from the hangover and slowly sat up from the bed, only to find that he was inside an empty and unfamiliar room.

He was lying naked on a... bed... a bed!

Seulgi immediately snapped out of his daze. His usual gentle gaze instantly turned sharp and he cast a cursory glance across the room warily. He found the room was left with no one except him.

Seulgi furrowed his eyebrows. He stretched out his hand and touched the side of his bed. It was cold and he did not feel any warmth at all, as if no one had ever been there before.

Could he have been having a dream last night? A hint of puzzlement appeared in Seulgi's eyes.

However, this conjecture was quickly overturned by him.

Seulgi lifted the quilt and took a look at his own body. Without a doubt, the entire room was cleaned spick and span, erasing the traces of a certain one who had been there.

However, this was his own body. How could he not identify even the slightest physical changes in himself?
