Lisa's eyes sparkled. His eyes snapped to Yu-min, who was standing at the entrance. Before Yu-min's Leo was shown on her face, he blurted out, "I asked Jennie to come over to take care of me. This was my mother's request, as well as mine."
Yu-min looked incredibly bashful the moment Lisa turned and looked at her. However, the next moment, her expression stiffened, and her eyes grew so big as if they were going to pop out of their sockets.
"President Manoban, what did you just say? You said, you took the initiative... by asking her to..."
'President Manoban called the wench so intimately by her name, and even asked her to come over to take care of him! Could it be... No way! It's impossible! How could President Manoban fall for a wench like her?! How is that possible?! The wench must be the one who seduced him! It must be so!'
Yu-min took two steps back shakily. When she regained her balance, she turned her gaze and glared at Jennie furiously as if she wanted to skin her alive.
Jennie was not intimidated by Yu-min's glare. She did not take it to heart. In fact, she found her hilariously amusing. Meanwhile, the other person inside the ward thought otherwise.
When Lisa noticed the murderous intent in Yu-min's eyes, he narrowed his eyes. The aura surrounding him changed within an instant, "I hate to repeat myself, I hope I won't hear the same remarks humiliating my wife-to-be. Otherwise, I won't hesitate asking someone to seal your mouth, and..."
Lisa turned back, and cast a glance at Jennie. His sharp look slowly softened, "No one should interfere in the affairs between me with my wife-to-be. In fact, I'm most pleased to see her pretending to look pitiful and showing concern for me even if it's her method of seducing me."
Right after Lisa spoke, the atmosphere in the entire ward immediately fell into grave silence.
The bodyguards at the entrance were dumbfounded. They looked at their superior incredulously. They shuddered at the thought that the person speaking was indeed their superior, the handsome, high and mighty President.
'How could this be possible... How is this possible...? How could our president say something so uncharacteristic of him?! Are we sure the person in front of us is not somebody else?!
Upon hearing this, Jennie slowly put a palm against her face. She thought bitterly to herself, 'Darn you, Lisa! You can do all you want to embarrass yourself, but why do you have to drag me down?!
'Moreover, what do you mean by "wife-to-be"? Have you been overthinking it? When did I promise to be your wife?!'
Lisa's confession of their relationship delivered the fatal blow to Yu-min. Before Lisa made his statement, she could still deceive herself, thinking that Jennie was the only one who did all this willingly.
She thought Jennie was the one who had come up with this trick to grab Lisa's attention and seduced him. However, Lisa explicitly covered up for Jennie in front of everyone. He called her name intimately, and even made known to the rest that she was his wife-to-be.
'Where did it go wrong? Lisa has truly fallen for Jennie, he likes her...?'
"No, I don't believe it! How can she be your future wife? How is it possible that she is your future wife?! You had abandoned her! Both of you had filed for a divorce!"
Yu-min's hysterical scream once again hit Lisa where it hurt. Divorcing Jennie in the beginning was the most regrettable decision he had ever made in his life. Now, this had become his minefield, he spared no one who triggered his taboo.
On the other hand, Yu-min was such a daredevil that she actually triggered his minefield. Lisa's expression darkened. He swept a glance at the bodyguards, and said in a low voice, "This young lady has lost her mind, send her to the psychiatric department. And, there will be no repeats of this, if you guys let scum like her barge in again in the future, go and claim your final cheque from the finance department."
The bodyguards shivered upon meeting their superior's deadly gaze. They did not dare to react slowly. They immediately dashed forward, dragged Yu-min and tossed her out.
Yu-min had been spoiled ever since young. She never experienced things like this. The moment she was grabbed, she panicked. She screamed, "What are you guys doing?! Let go of me! Let go of me!"
None of the bodyguards dared to let go of her at that moment. If they ever let the numbskull stay inside the ward for another few minutes, they might lose their jobs.
The bodyguards did not stop regardless of how Yu-min had screamed at them. Her face turned white. Without giving a second thought, she turned around, and shouted at Lisa, "President Manoban, President Manoban, don't be deceived by the wench! She's playing hard to get. Don't be deceived by her! President Manoban!"
Jennie found it incredibly hilarious upon hearing Yu-min's absurd insults. She instinctively turned around, looked at Lisa, and asked teasingly, "Playing hard to get?"
Lisa's calm gaze flickered with some emotions, his gaze softened, and he said, "You don't need to do that."
Lisa spoke so calmly, as if he never doubted his words ever since he bumped into her several times after their divorce. There was no rationale behind his shamelessness.
Jennie and Lisa's cooperation had easily caused a sting to Yu-min's eyes.
At that instant, the hatred in Yu-min's heart was likened to the spreading of poison from a poisonous scorpion all over her body, the poison that had been accumulated for some time, and it had devoured all her rationality.
Why... Why could Jennie gain everything that she had ever wished for so effortlessly?!
She had taken great pains to find his ward, and now, she was kicked out, while the woman stayed inside the ward, spending time with President Manoban romantically and intimately.
She had been working hard to curry favor with the man. In the end, he only laid his eyes on the wench while turning a blind eye to her!
Was it just because the woman was meaner, more despicable, and scheming than her?
She was not willing to accept the fact, she did not want to accept the fact!
"You wench! Wench, why didn't you go to hell?! The elevator clearly fell that time, why did you survive?! A person like you shouldn't have stayed in this world! You're not worthy to live in this world! Why didn't you go to hell?! Why didn't you go to hell?!"
Yu-min's loud and fearful shriek echoed in the ward for some time before it was gone.
The bodyguards widened their eyes.. Apparently, they were shocked by the woman's ruthlessness. When they recovered their senses and were about to cover Yu-min's mouth to drag her out, an incredibly cold voice was heard from the ward, "Stop!"
