Leo's loud scream had been against everyone's expectations. The baby, who was holding and drinking his milk bottle happily seemed to have sensed Leo's breakdown. He pulled out the pacifier from his mouth, pouted his lips, and burst into tears. Cry...

The baby's cries quickly captured many people's attention who had been standing at the side. Rosé and Jisoo immediately patted the baby's back and calmed him down.

After Leo finished screaming, he turned around and hid behind Jennie. His large eyes were welled up in tears. He looked warily at Shin-hye.

Shin-hye never thought Leo would overreact to this. For a moment, she was at a loss. "Leo, what happened to you? Don't cry, don't cry..."

Jennie did not look surprised when she saw Leo's reaction. She heaved a sigh, bent over and scooped the aggrieved Leo up in her arms. She coaxed him in a low voice, "Leo, be a good boy. Don't cry, don't cry... I wouldn't give birth to a young brother or sister. I'll only have you. I am yours. Look, so many people around are watching you and the baby. It's normal for the baby to cry. But, it's very shameful if you still cry when you're already a grown-up."

"Okay, I won't cry. I don't want any younger brother or sister. You are mine and mine only." Leo leaned against Jennie's shoulders and sniffed. His entire body was trembling and he looked very pitiful.

When Lisa heard the mother-son duo's lines, he finally understood why Jennie had refused to give birth to another child. His eyes lit up and carried a hint of remorse for neglecting his son for so long.

Tae-joon looked like he was caught by surprise as well. Upon hearing the mother-son's pair dialogues, his cold gaze flickered with a well of emotions.

"Jennie, Leo..." Shin-hye never expected Leo to overreact like this. However, she was not stupid either. The moment she heard the mother-son pair's dialogues, she immediately understood the root cause of Leo's agitation.

And because of this, she grew increasingly remorseful. Adults like them had been thinking for themselves only. They failed to consider for Leo how insecure he was and had ignored the child's feelings.

Jennie cast a glance at Shin-hye's panicked look. She knew that she was blaming herself completely for this. She heaved a sigh and said, "We wouldn't blame you for this, Madam Manoban. Leo is a sensitive child. So, don't say such things in front of him in the future."

Shin-hye immediately nodded her head. Her heart broke as she watched her precious grandson's grief-stricken appearance. She did not dare to bring this up anymore in front of the child in the future.

At the end of the day, the fault was still with Lisa. He was the one who had wanted another child all of a sudden. She had followed suit and resulted in making such a blunder. It had not been easy for her to form a bond with her precious grandson. If Leo ignored him, she would definitely not forgive her son.

This time, President Manoban had been innocently dragged into a trap out of nowhere. If not for Shin-hye who had also wanted a grandchild on her own, why did she have to go through so much trouble to target Leo and use him to persuade Jennie? In the end, she failed to persuade Jennie and had even made the matter worse.

"Leo, be a good boy. Leo, be a good boy. I was just cracking a joke with you just now. You're not going to have a younger brother or sister. It'll only be you. Come, you like desserts, right? I'm going to take you and we'll get some good food, okay?" Shin-hye was afraid that Leo would stay astray from her after this incident, so she quickly found a reason to divert his attention.

Jennie naturally knew Shin-hye's plan. The corners of her lips slightly curved upward. She patted Leo's back lightly and said, "Leo, did you hear her? Grandma Shin-hye is only joking around with you."

Only then did Leo raise his head from Jennie's shoulders timidly. He asked hesitantly, "Really?"

"Of course she was!" Jennie lied as a matter-of-factly while stretching out her hand to play up with Leo. "Come, Leo, get down now. I'll take you to get some good food. Look over there, those children don't need their mothers to carry them, many people are watching you, how shameful is that?"

Leo finally returned to his senses after being reminded by Shin-hye. He was not at home now. In fact, he was at a banquet and many strangers were looking at them.

When Leo realized this, his face turned red. He whispered to his mother, "Mommy, I want to come down now."

"Oh, so now you want to come down, huh? You don't want to cry anymore?" Jennie teased him. Leo protested angrily, "Mommy!"

"Alright, I don't want to tease you anymore." Jennie put Leo on the ground. "Go and grab some food with Grandma Shin-hye."

Leo nodded his head. He stretched out his hand obediently at Shin-hye.

Shin-hye was overjoyed. She ignored her husband and son, held her precious grandson's soft hand and walked over to the table that had been layered with a myriad of food.

Right after Shin-hye left, Lisa held Jennie's hand again and took her to the other side of the balcony.

Rosé and Jisoo had been hugging and coaxing their precious son for some time. When they realized their son had peed, they did not know if they wanted to laugh or cry. Rosé took her son upstairs to change his diaper.

In just a while, only Jisoo and Tae-joon remained at the spot.

After Tae-joon watched his wife and Leo leave, he withdrew his gaze and shifted to Jisoo. "I have something to discuss with you in private."

"Uncle, I also have something to talk to you about. Let's go upstairs." As Jisoo was speaking, he had the butler of the Song family's main residence to help him to serve the guest before he took Tae-joon upstairs.

On the other hand, Jennie did not fight back. She let Lisa dragged her to the balcony and asked him in puzzlement, "Why are you taking me here?"

Before she finished speaking, Lisa had already let go of Jennie's hand and hugged her tightly.

"Lisa... What's wrong with you? Why did you hug me so tightly all of a sudden? There are so many people out there. What if someone happens to pass by and see this? Let go of me now!"

The two were standing at a spot separated from the balcony. A piece of large blue curtain covered that spot. As long as the outsiders did not pass by the spot, no one could see what they were doing on the balcony.

However, who could guarantee that no one else would be like them, ran over there to take shelter, and shared some secret exchanges?

"Let them watch, then." Lisa sounded spiteful. Apparently, he was a bit angry with Jennie for being so avoidant of others seeing them together.

He was Leo's biological father, Jennie's nominal ex-husband, as well as Jennie's current boyfriend. It was only normal for them to be so close and intimate. So, why should they care what others think of them?

"You!" Jennie rolled her eyes in resignation. She truly felt speechless at Lisa's shamelessness..
