One thing was worth mentioning. The general manager of Sheng Huang Group was none other than the young master of the Nam Family, Nam Joo-hyuk. He was Rain's nephew who was the general manager of Nam Group and had a strong bond with the former master of the Kim family.

The uncle-nephew pair from the Nam Family were the oddballs in the business arena. However, referring to the two as "oddballs" was definitely a commendatory term.

Back then, when Rain first entered the business arena, he had deceived many people and caused them bankruptcy just by showing a gentle, smiling face during the round-table negotiation. He was nicknamed as a wolf in sheep's clothing!

Within only a few years since he joined Nam Group, Nam Group's various businesses turnover had doubled. Many people were amazed by his achievements.

However, what caught them by surprise the most was, Rain, who had such a talent for business had not ended up taking over Nam Group and became the successor of Nam Group. In fact, he had willingly retired to the second line and became the general manager of Nam Group. He dedicated himself to supporting his older brother, who was Nam Joo-hyuk's father, to further expand the Nam Group.

Rain had not married even today, much less a child of his own. Therefore, he did his best to cultivate and raise his older brother's son, Nam Joo-hyuk.

Nam Joo-hyuk had been personally trained by Rain. As such, regardless of his style of action or negotiation tactics, the actions he took were literally the same as Rain. He had gained a reputation in the business arena since he was at a very young age. He was nicknamed as the young fox in sheep's clothing!

However, just when Nam Joo-hyuk was gradually rising in the business arena and everyone had thought that the Nam Family was about to bring in some new changes, Nam Joo-hyuk suddenly left the Nam Group and co-founded with a partner to form Sheng Huang Group.

At that time, his action had set off public outrage. Many people had reprimanded Nam Joo-hyuk for being ungrateful and betraying his ancestors once he became successful enough to stand on his own.

Some had also speculated that the reason Rain worked as the general manager was only a scheme to usurp power and interests. Therefore, usurping the Nam Group was only a matter of time. After all, in the end, Nam Joo-hyuk was still only Rain's nephew and a gap existed between the two.

A great man could not brook a rival. When a disagreement broke out between the two, Nam Joo-hyuk had decided to depart from Nam Group and set up his own company.

No matter how, after so many years, Sheng Huang Group was expanding and Nam Group had never once interfered in its business nor blocked its path.

Rain never met his nephew formally in the business arena. It looked like the two had avoided each other on purpose.

One thing was sure, Jennie had never had any dealings with the Nam Family. She occasionally heard the former master mention that he was a friend of Rain. Besides, Rain had always praised his nephew. It seemed like the uncle-nephew pair had a rather amicable relationship. Unlike what the outsiders had said, claiming that they had bad blood against each other.

Could the former master worry that she could not handle the meeting on her own today and so, he had looked for Rain to ask Nam Joo-hyuk to come over to lend her a helping hand?

Jennie furrowed her eyebrows. Soon, she regained her calm expression. She rose and said to the crowd, "I need to handle some urgent matters, so I have to leave the meeting for a short moment. You guys could take a look at these documents first. Solar, distribute these documents to the chiefs."

"Oh, okay." Solar looked dejected as she took over Jennie's documents and distributed them to the crowd. The way she looked at Jennie was somehow depressive.

Jennie's entire body shuddered under her stare. She frowned and felt strange. Was the lass accusing her of leaving her alone to handle so many people? But, this was not her first time experiencing so? Why had she not noticed her resentment like this before? Indeed, she had been spoiled by Moonbyul.

Jennie did not give it a second thought. She quickly left the meeting room with Xiao Jingyao. However, when she passed by Minchul, she paused mid-stride. She locked gazes with him for a brief moment before she completely walked out of the meeting room.

Once Jennie left the meeting room, she hurriedly rushed over to her office. On the way, her mind raced for various reasons that would lead to Nam Joo-hyuk paying her a visit.

However, when she arrived at her office and saw the person, all her speculations were overturned. She was completely caught by surprise.

"You... Why are you here?" Jennie widened her eyes and looked at the man in disbelief. He was sitting leisurely on her couch and drinking water. In fact, he looked like he had slightly lost his composure...

At that moment, Jennie finally came to realize why Solar had been looking at her in such a depressive manner when she left the meeting room. Her idol had appeared all of sudden and his appearance had sucked her soul away. Yet, Jennie had made her stay inside the meeting room. How could she not be depressed?

However, hasn't this guy said that he would come back after a month? There were still a few days left before the deadline. Why would he suddenly appear now?!

Could it be true that her threatening remarks had worked last time? This man had rushed back because he was afraid that his wife would be taken away by others when he was not around?

The man who was not supposed to appear so early before Jennie put down his glass of water. He quirked one of his eyebrows as he said, "I came here to negotiate a contract with the general manager of Kim Enterprise. Where else could I be if not here?"

"Contract negotiation?" Jennie was stunned for some time before she was snapped out of her daze. She exclaimed, "Are you from Sheng Huang Group? Are you the general manager?"

"Not the general manager, but he's the president. I am the general manager of the Sheng Huang Group." Right after Jennie spoke, a voice with a hint of faint laughter rose from the side of another couch.

Jennie looked in the direction of the couch and was greeted by the sight of teasing foxy eyes. Her heart unwittingly clenched.

The young man who was sitting on the couch looked like he was in his early twenties. He wore a pure white, fitting formal suit that matched well with his handsome face which was much fairer than an average person. One would unwittingly rest one's gaze on him.

One could not forget his exquisite features with an innate aristocratic quality in just a single glance. This was especially so when one met his incredibly seductive foxy eyes. One need not even look into his eyes, his soul could be sucked away so long he only threw a cursory glance at him!

Jennie had thought that the saying about troubles would only befall on beautiful women could only refer to women. little did she know that when a man looked equally as beautiful, he was not inferior to a woman either.

"General Manager, aren't you going to introduce him to me?" Just then, Xiao Jingyao interrupted Jennie as she was locking gazes with the young man. Jennie quickly calmed herself down.

Jennie sucked in a deep breath before she pointed at the man who had stood up from the couch opposite her and said, "He is Minho. Mr. Lee, he is my secretary, Xiao Jingyao."

"Hi, Mr. Lee." Xiao Jingyao pushed back the glasses that had slid down the bridge of his nose. He took the initiative and stretched out his hand at Minho.

From their conversations just now, Xiao Jingyao had basically learned their identities. He also knew that the man in front of him was the president of Sheng Shi Group that Jennie had asked him to conduct an investigation on.

However, at that time, his findings had clearly shown that Sheng Shi Group had filed for bankruptcy and its president had gone missing. It did not matter that he had popped out all of a sudden now, but he had also unexpectedly turned out to be the president of Sheng Huang Group.

It looked like this person was much more than what he appeared to be!
