Shin-hye heaved a sigh of relief upon hearing Jennie's words. She was overjoyed and quickly got into the car, fearing that Jennie would take back her words.
When the driver from the Manoban Family saw Madam Manoban getting into a stranger's car, he froze. Then, he followed Jennie's car.
Luckily, there were not many cars on the road during this period of time. The Manoban Family's driver tailed Jennie's car at a far distance so that he would not be discovered. Shin-hye heaved a sigh when she saw this.
Shin-hye finally had a chance to speak with Jennie. She hurriedly explained to her, "About the woman who is with Lisa..."

This was the greatest joke on Earth! After all, what she had done in the past including insulting Lisa during their divorce, and bumping into the two in the hospital during maternal checkups was all but an attempt to confuse herself?!

Jennie could not tell if she was surprised or disappointed. She looked up and snorted, "Overthink? What more could I think about? Didn't Lisa deliberately ask his cousin to pair with him to act just so that I got all worked up overthinking things? If so, why the need to explain to me now? He didn't mind ruining his own reputation just to cut ties with me. Now, he abruptly changed his mind and keeps bugging me. Does he find all this interesting?"
Shin-hye fell speechless. Looking at Jennie's aggressive and indifferent look, she thought to herself, 'Why... do I feel like I'm making things worse?'
It looked like her son had gone too far this time. What could she do? As long as her former daughter-in-law could not get over this, her son would have to remain a bachelor for life!
Shin-hye silently lamented for her son. After that, she cleared her throat and asked tentatively, "Jennie... do you hate... Lisa?"
'Hate him?' Jennie let out a bark of laughter. She wanted to tell Shin-hye that she was no longer the same old Jennie. She had never loved Lisa, so why would she hate him? But, why did she feel a little disappointed?
Right at the moment when the two fell silent, the car abruptly shook violently, scaring the two in the back seat.

"Eldest lady, what should we do now?" This was the driver's first time experiencing something like this. His face turned ghastly pale, and he looked more anxious than Jennie.
"Don't look back. Continue to move forward and try to look for somewhere where we can hide," Jennie decisively instructed the driver. The next moment, she took out her mobile phone and called Xiao Jingyao.
Without letting her down, Xiao Jingyao picked up her call very soon, "General Manager, what's the matter?"
"Uncle Xiao, I'm being followed. The car is right behind us. I guess it wants to catch up with us and create a traffic accident," Jennie tried her best to keep her tone calm and smooth.
