Mariah woke up and walked into her bathroom to see Elena
"Hey" Elena greeted. Mariah sighed
"Hey" she greeted. Elena looked at her
"What's wrong?" She asked
"Nothing" Mariah shrugged "you've just been extremely secretive lately and I wanna know whats going on" she told her. Elena sighed
"I'm not keeping anything from u ok?" She told her
"Oh rly? Nothing ab vampires or something?"
"Look, I was wrong. U were right." Elena told her "Stephan and Damon aren't vampires. U were right, I was being crazy and paranoid" she told her
"Mhm" Mariah nodded "as crazy as it sounded, u had a valid point and it made a lot of sense. Look, u can tell me anything ok?"
"I know" Elena nodded "and I do. Promise. I'm not keeping anything from u" she told her. She walked into her room. Mariah watched her walk away and sighed, rolling her eyes

"Where the hell r u?" Mariah asked on the phone with Bonnie "I haven't heard from u all weekend"
"I know. I'm sorry. I've been with my grams" Bonnie told her "they find Vicki?"
"Mat says she called but.." Mariah sighed "I think there's more going on and I rly need to talk to u"
"We will. I'll see u at school" Bonnie told her. Mariah sighed
"Ok" 'Mariah nodded.

Mariah walked down the hallway to see Caroline and Bonnie
"M" Caroline smiled "I got ur costume" she told her, handing her a bag. Mariah looked into the bag to see a red and black witch costume. She chuckled
"Looks like we're twinning this year" Bonnie smiled slightly, showing her her witch costume. Mariah chuckled before looking at her and remembering what she saw "what's wrong?" She asked.
"Uh.." Mariah shook it off "thanks care. I love it" she told Caroline. Caroline smiled and nodded before walking away
"Ok" Bonnie stepped closer to her "what's wrong?" She asked when Elena walked up to them
"Hey guys" she greeted
"Hey Elena" Bonnie smiled before looking at Mariah confused
"I'll see u guys later" Mariah stated before walking away.

"Cider for the ladies. It's a Lockwood special." Tyler held out three drinks for Mariah, Caroline and Bonnie as they stood at the Halloween party in their costumes
"No way. Last year I was hung over until Thanksgiving." Bonnie chuckled
"Lightweight. I am going to drink until someone is hot enough to make out with." Caroline told them
"Same" Mariah chuckled. Tyler looked at her
"Sounds like a plan." He smiled slightly. Mariah rolled her eyes.

Caroline and bonnie walked away and Mariah went to go with her
"Hey" tyler stopped her.
"What do u want, ty?" Mariah asked him. Tyler chuckled
"Look, what do I have to do to get back on ur good side?" Tyler asked. Mariah furrowed her brows. She sighed
"Why did u rly break up with me?" She asked. Tyler sighed
"Mar..."
"Just tell me, ty. Was it Vicki?"
"What? No" he shook his head
"Ok then what was it?" Mariah asked. "Was it me then?"
"No" Tyler scoffed "no way. It wasn't u"
"Then what was it, ty? Spit it out." She told him. Tyler looked at her desperate eyes for a moment before sighing
"Ur parents had just died, Mar." he told her and Mariah huffed, rolling her eyes "u weren't yourself and...u were lashing out at me. And...Elena thought.."
"Elena?" Mariah asked. Tyler looked at her guiltily "Elena thought u needed some space...so I gave it to u, alright?" He told her.
"U did what Elena wanted?" Mariah asked angrily
"I didn't disagree" he shrugged "look..I'm sorry..ok?"
"Do u love her?" Mariah asked.
"What?"
"Vicki. Do u love her?" She asked again. Tyler sighed, looking away
"I...I.." he huffed "idk ok?" He told her "I know I like her..but..I also think u were right..and that she's a drug addict and a little bit of a basket case"
"A bit?" Mariah scoffed
"Mar" Tyler told her, giving her a slight look.
"Whatever" Mariah sighed.
"But no....I don't think I love her" he shook his head.
"U don't think?" Mariah asked
"I know" Tyler told her sternly "I don't love her" he told her. Mariah nodded
"Fine" Mariah sighed "ur officially back on my good side" she walked by him and stopped, leaning into him "ish" she whispered before walking away when Tyler grabbed her hand, stopping her and pulling her to face him again. She looked at him, waiting to him to talk. Tyler stepped closer to her
"I don't wanna just be on ur good side..." he leaned in, putting his hand on her cheek. Mariah looked down at his lips and then back up at his eyes. She groaned, grabbing his shirt and pulling him into her lips, pushing him up against the wall as they kissed
