—Mariah walked into the grill to sit with Elena and Caroline. She stopped walking, freezing before turning around to see Kol with a smile on his face
"Looks like there's no way I can sneak up on u now..is there?" He asked

"I siphoned ur magic, now I can sense u when u come close" mariah answered. Kol nodded, taking a step closer to her "u can't hurt me..." Mariah told him, holding her hand out as she took a step away from him "I don't trust u Michealsons but I do trust Elijah's word..he said u won't hurt us" she stated. Kol smiled.

"Im not here to hurt u, love" he told her. He started to walk around her "im here to ask u what color ur wearing at the ball tonight" he told her. Mariah furrowed her brows, spinning around to face him

"Why?" She asked

"Because ur my date" he shrugged. Mariah scoffed

"I am not ur date" she told him, crossing her arms

"Well who do u think invited u?" He asked. Mariah looked at him confused

"U did?" She asked. Kol shrugged with a smile

"What color are u wearing?" He asked again. Mariah sighed, annoyed, rolling her eyes

"Red" she answered. Kol nodded his head "and I like roses" she added with an annoyed tone before walking past him.—

Mariah opened her eyes in kols dark room with tears running from her eyes down into her hair. She sat up, sniffling, pulling her legs to her chest as she cried silently.

"Desperate times, I take it?" Klaus asked Caroline as he walked into the Salvatore house to see Caroline drinking old beer from a red solo cup

"What are you doing here?" Care asked, not looking at him

"Not judging you, for starters, although if you are determined to get drunk, then perhaps I might recommend something a little more sanitary?" He told her. Care looked at him dead in the eye as she downed the rest of what was in the cup "Well, then. You showed me" klaus smiled. Caroline's started to pick up more garbage

"Shouldn't you be out chasing Tyler to the ends of the earth? Or are there still some hopes and dreams you wanna crush around here?" She asked

"Depends. Do you happen to know where the young Brutus is?"

"I know where he's not-- with me. And he gave Matt the deed to the house, so he's gone for good."

"Tyler made it his life's mission to kill me. You can't hate me for driving him away."

"Oh I can, and I do. Now if you don't mind, I'd like to get back to spiraling, so go away." Care told him when Mariah walked in and Caroline looked at her shocked and happily "Mariah" she smiled slightly
"hi" she spoke. "Ur here. Why..r u here?" She asked

"I asked them to be here. We need their help. I think Silas is in Mystic Falls." Stephan answered Caroline's question as he walked into the room.

Klaus stood pouring himself a drink while he and the others talked

"So some blood went missing from a few hospitals. What about Elena? Don't vampires with their humanity off tend to overindulge in human blood, or were you the exception?" He asked. He turned around to face them, holding out a drink for Mariah and she took it, Caroline furrowing her brows at them slightly

"What, r u two friends now?" She asked judgmentally.

"No..he just knows I'm a big fan of alcohol lately" Mariah answered, taking a drink. Care looked at Mariah
