(S1/2) Summary

S-1 Summary:
Mariah Gilbert, twin sister to Elena Gilbert, lived a normal life. She was popular and greatly loved but her parents dying turned some things upside down in her life, like her relationships with her siblings and her boyfriend, Tyler. In the new year, Elena meets a vampire and falls in love with him, keeping it a secret from Mariah. Bonnie finds out she is a witch at the same time as Mariah finds out she is a siphoner, also finding out she, along with Elena, r adopted and not actually twins. This creates some tension between Mariah and Elena. Bonnie has a psychic vision of Mariah falling in love with a tall, dark haired and eyed, older man who will come out of the blue and mariah will try to fight it. She also says that he will be the one for Mariah. Mariah also has dreams ab a man names Kaleb. He tells her that they know one another and saved one another which confuses Mariah. Mariah doesn't like Stephan and Damon in Elena's life. In fact, she hates them and her and Elena argue quiet often over that subject. But eventually, they all come back together again right before Caroline dies and Katherine comes to town.

(The second season is slow and I didn't include her much so I decided to just give u a summary of it to speed things up)
S-2 Summary:
Mariah hates Damon and Stephan. She blames them for everything that's happened. She believed Elena was stupid for trusting them when people kept getting hurt because of them coming to town. Mariah continues to learn more ab being a witch, wishing he could find her birth parents but she's too busy dealing with everything trying to hurt Elena and her family. Mariah and Tyler don't talk very much. The stay broken up through season 2 and Tyler has his starting relationship with Caroline. Katherine comes to town and Mariah helps the group try and take Katherine down, ending up putting Katherine into the tomb. She then try's to help against klaus when he comes to town. Klaus kills Elena and Jenna in the sacrifice, taking Stephan with him when he leaves. Elena comes back to life and Mariah forgives her because she was so scared of losing her but then Elena spends the whole summer trying to find Stephan which makes Mariah mad at her and miss her again. Mariah also continues to have dreams every now and then of Kaleb. They r short and he just continues to act like they've known each other forever and Mariah continues to be confused.

Mariah and her friends are greeted by the whole original family while dealing with issues between one another. Mariah finds herself drawn to Kol Michealson, as he is drawn to her. Mariah tries to fight it as she continues through her life and her problems, but the magnetic force is too strong. She finds that he may be the happiness she had been searching for..in many ways. Mariah's family and friends betray her and she leaves town with klaus. Mariah learns some secrets ab her real family all while trying to peace her old life back together, bringing back the man she loved. All while she deals with the issues that follow the original family to New Orleans, and deals with her own personal issues along the way. She's the new girl in New Orleans..with new friends..and a new family..what kind of person will she be now? And will she find out the answer to the question, 'is everyone rly just born to die?'

(I made a change for siphons. I couldn't have Mariah always being the solution and saving the day. That would make things more difficult. I made it so if a siphon siphons too much magic, it's dangerous. It'll eat them from the inside out, eventually killing them. Just a disclaimer :)
