Rebekah and Matt stood in the grill around candles because the power was out when Rebekah looked at the door to see Kol

"Oh, my god. Kol." She gasped

"Greetings from the dead. So, who fancies a drink?" Kol asked, walking over to the bar and grabbing a bottle

"I thought I'd never see you again." Rebekah told him

"Spare me the waterworks, sister. I've already watched you grieve. It lasted a full 24 hours, remember?" Kol told her before taking a drink

"I'm assuming this means Bonnie dropped the veil." Matt stated

"Not completely, and not for long. But who am I to give up an opportunity for revenge? My killer's already dead, but his sister's just as culpable, so maybe you could help me find her." Kol smiled evilly

"If you hurt Elena, I swear.." matt started when Kol smashed the bottle on his hands making him stop

"Oh, I'm going to. But please, continue. I'm curious as to where you're going with this." Kol smiled

"You've made your point, Kol. Leave." Rebekah told him

"First tell me where I can find Elena." Kol told her

"She left here hours ago, we don't know where she is. Now get out!" Rebekah yelled

"I see you finally got the quarterback to pay attention to you. How's the throwing arm, champ?" Kol asked before throwing the broken bottle into Matt's shoulder before walking away.

Mariah sat on the bed in the place her and Klaus had been staying when her phone rang. She looked at the screen to see Damon's name. She rolled her eyes
"What?" She asked annoyed

"Mariah" Alaric spoke making Mariah's face drop. She stood up off the bed

"Alaric?" She asked

"It's me"

"R u..."

"I'm still dead, but there's something u need to know." He told her "Bonnie dropped the veil to the other side, so a bunch of ghosts are running around mystic falls...including a certain boyfriend of yours who wants Elena dead" he told her. Mariah's face dropped

"Kol" she whispered

"Listen. I know u hate Elena for what she did, but something obviously tells me kol hates her more. U need to stop him"

"How? I'm all the way in New Orleans" she told him

"Call Elena. If she's with him, or if she sees him, u can talk to him. Call ur sister, Mariah." Alaric told her. Mariah sighed.

Elena sat in front of Jeremy's grave when Kol appeared behind her
"Pity about your brother. Guess it's just me against you now." He smiled.

Kol kicked Elena to the ground
"Now this is what I've missed: two people connecting." He smiled when Elena's phone started to ring. Kol ignored it "it's lonely on the Other Side...and I swear being invisible will drive you mad. Standing by and watching the women u love spiral..turn into someone she's not all to bring u back. Cry...every night. I have to watch all the pain she has to endure..because of u. Now I'm gonna have to watch her tear herself apart just to bring me back to life..and it's all because of u" he fumed as Elena's phone continued to ring. "Whoever that is rly needs u right now, huh?" He chuckled before grabbing Elena by the throat and lifting her up.

"Go ahead, Kol. Kill me. You'd be doing me a favor." Elena spoke weakly

"As you wish, darling." Kol whispered before dropping Elena and turning around quickly, catching a wooden stake that was shot at his heart. He looked up to see Jeremy
