"U sure u wanna go in there?" Kol asked Mariah, holding his hands on her face. Mariah smiled, laying her hand on his chest as she sighed
"I have to" she told him.
"We could always run away again..except this time we don't have to come back" he told her with a smile. Mariah chuckled.
"After graduation..I'm all yours"
"No college?" He asked. Mariah groaned
"Don't remind me" she told him. Kol chuckled.
"U can do whatever u want..I'll always be right here" he told her. Mariah smiled
"Good..cause I'm ab to go back to my lifeless life, and I'm gonna need u.." she put her pointer finger to his chest "to remind me why I'm still living" she told him. Kol smiled, leaning closer
"Gladly" she told her before kissing her. Once he pulled away, he spoke again "but I will be keeping a closer eye on u from now on" he told her. Mariah chuckled "I can't look away from u for five minutes without u getting yourself into trouble"  he smiled
"Probably a good call" Mariah chuckled, nodding. She leaned in, kissing him "I gotta get inside and assess the damage that was most likely done while we were gone" she whispered
"I'll see u later" Kol whispered back. Mariah smiled, leaning in and kissing him again quickly before turning and walking up onto her porch and into her house
"I'm home!" Mariah called out as she walked into her house, setting her bags down on the ground "In one piece..as promised" she chuckled before turning to see Elena pacing back and fourth panickingly with Damon behind her
"Mariah" Elena spoke worriedly. Mariah furrowed her brows as she started to walk towards them. Elena put her hands out "Mariah. Don't freak out" she told her. Mariah walked around the couch and looked down to see Jeremy was laying on the couch, dead
"Omg" Mariah panicked, kneeling down next to him "Jeremy!" She yelled. She looked at his hand to see his ring. "What happened?" She asked
"I..I uh..I" Elena stammered
"She killed him" Damon answered bluntly making Mariah's eyes widen
"I was hallucinating..I uh..idk..I.." Elena panicked when Stephan walked into the house.
"Hey. What happened? Why didn't u call me?" He asked as he walked over to them
"I uh..I need to go shower. Clean all of the blood off of my hands" Elena stated before going upstairs.
"What the hell has been going on? Mariah asked when Jeremy gasped, sitting up. "Jeremy" Mariah sighed, putting her hands on his face "ur ok..ur ok" she told him as he looked around panicked
"What happened?" Jeremy asked
"Long story. Buy the e-book" Damon answered. Stephan walked upstairs with Elena and Mariah stood up, crossing her arms
"Ok..u wanna catch me up on what's been going on now?" She asked

"The hunter kidnapped Jeremy and then Elena killed the hunter and now she apparently she is hallucinating?" Mariah asked Damon and Damon nodded. Mariah sighed "god, I'm gone for two days..and all of this happens?" She asked, annoyed
"Maybe u shouldn't go on vacation when there's a hunter on the loose hunting ur friends and family" Damon shrugged and Mariah gave him a look.

"You lost her?" Bonnie asked as she stood with Mariah, Damon and Stephan in the Gilbert kitchen
"Well, "lost" is a very strong word, we just technically don't know where she is." Damon answered
"The point is, she's gone and we need to find her" Mariah told her.
"I'm more worried about what Klaus said about this hunter's curse" Stephan told them
"How does Klaus even know about this?" Bonnie asked
"How does Klaus know anything? Guy's like a billion years old." Damon asked
"He said it was a witch's curse." Stephan stated, looking at bonnie and Mariah
"You know if I could do anything to help, I would. But I.." Bonnie spoke
"But nothing, wave your magic wand, hocus pocus, begone hunter ghostus, whatever" damon told her
"There's gotta be something we can do" Mariah told bonnie
"The spirits won't let me do the magic I'd need to break the curse. But I can ask Shane for help, he knows everything about everything." Bonnie told them
"Great, you three do your thing." Stephan told them
"Where are you going?" Damon asked as Stephan walked out
"I'm gonna get her back." Stephan told them
"Ok..there's gotta be a way I can do this by myself" Mariah told Bonnie "if u can't do the spell, I'll figure it out. Maybe I can siphon it." She shrugged.
"Let me ask Shane. He knows everything. Let me ask him first..then we can try ur magic" Bonnie told her. Mariah signed.
"Alright. Let's go see this Shane guy"
