Mariah was knelt down on the ground trying to do a locator spell
"Anything?" Marcel asked. Mariah sighed, opening her eyes

"They're blocking me" she told him.

"Alright, everyone to ur posts" Marcel commanded to the vampires around him

"Anything?" Elijah asked as he walked into the room

"They're putting eyes and ears out everywhere. Daywalkers are working every contact we've got. Cops, dock workers, guys in the Treme... Word is out: anyone trying to earn favor with me gets a lifetime of it if they find them." Marcel answered

"Good. I need a pen and paper." Elijah told him before walking away. Marcel and Mariah looked at each other confused before following him

"Hey, am I taking orders from you now, or are we in this together?" Marcel asked Elijah as Elijah removed his jacket

"Pen and paper, Marcellus. Now!" Elijah commanded

"I want her back just as much as you do, you know... The both of them." Marcel told him before walking away

"Hayley!" Elijah called out and Hayley walked in

"Elijah! You're back. Did you find any..." hayley started before seeing tattoos of names all over Elijah "thing?" She finished awkwardly. "What is happening?" She asked

"I need you to make a list of these names." Elijah told her

"Sabine?.." Mariah read "Elijah, what is this?" Mariah asked

"I believe they represent the names of the women Celeste inhabited for the past two centuries." Elijah answered when marcel walked back in and handed the pen and paper to Hayley.

"It's called a Devinette. It's old school. Kind of a riddle. Witches use them to teach their kids. Solve it, and it disappears." Marcel stated, looking at the names

"Why? What's the point?" Hayley asked

"Celeste forced me to make a choice between yourself and my siblings, and now she means to mock that choice, taunting me with a childish game. The longer the game, the more they suffer. To find Klaus and Rebekah, we need to solve this riddle. The solution lies somewhere in these names." Elijah answered

"The name next to Sabine... Annie La Fleur, she's the witch that was shunned from her coven just over a year ago. Never knew why, but I can find out." Marcel told him before walking away.

"And I guess I'll keep trying the locator spell" Mariah told them before walking out too.

Mariah sat on the ground in the compound with Diego watching her, bored
"So..ur here because ur trying to bring ur original brother lover back to life?" He asked, sitting on the table and crossing his arms. Mariah opened her eyes, annoyed

"I'm a little busy..I don't have time for conversation" she told him, rolling her eyes before closing them again

"U don't seem like ur doing a very good job at bringing him back to life. I mean, since you've been here, all you've done is random stuff for klaus. Like killing some of my friends and threatening the rest. What have u done to raise that guy from the dead?" He asked judgmentally. Mariah opened her eyes, wearing an angry look

"Do u have any other setting besides jackass?" She asked, annoyed. Diego shrugged

"Not for witches, no" he answered. "So..is this other original as bad as the others?" Diego asked.

"Yep" Mariah answered bluntly "And if he were here..." she smiled at him sarcastically "hed kill u just for sport" she told him.

"Like u did to my friends?" Diego asked. Mariah scoffed
