Mariah sat in the drivers seat of her car with Elena in the passenger seat as they drove to Alarics early in the morning
"Could u just..take it easy with him? Please?" Elena asked
"I've known him for a few days, Elena. I'm not stupid. I won't go spilling all of my deep dark secrets to him" Mariah told her
"Still..play it safe? I don't trust him..he's an original"
"And yet, u trust Elijah"
"Elijah is a man of honor. He can be trusted"
"Elijah is a man of honor when he's getting something. When he isn't..he would throw u into the lions den in a second..and he did" Mariah told him
"And Kol is any better?"
"U don't even know Kol" Mariah scoffed
"Neither do u, Mariah. That's my point. He's been alive for a thousand years.."
"And he's been in a coffin for probably half of that"
"Still. Who knows how many deep dark secrets he's hiding from u. Look, I'm just trying to look out for u. U remember what happened with Vicki and..and Anna"
"Omg" Mariah scoffed "could u people stop comparing me to Jeremy?" She asked annoyed. Elena furrowed her brows
"Who else compared u to Jeremy?"
"Who do u think?" Mariah asked "did u know he threatened me yesterday?" She asked. Elena sighed
"I'm mad at him too, M. Don't worry"
"Don't worry?" Mariah scoffed "he threatened me, Elena. U may be mad at him..but I hate his guts, alright? And if he tries anything,."
"He won't"
"If he tries anything...I will kill him...whether u like it or not" Mariah told her. Elena looked ahead, sighing.

Mariah and Elena walked up to Alarics door in his loft building, knocking on it and Damon opened the door
"Morning sunshine." He greeted Elena sarcastically. He looked at Mariah "cloudy" he stated and Mariah rolled her eyes
"Hey, how's Alaric?" Elena asked. Mariah and elena went to go inside but Damon blocked their way, keeping the door mostly shut so they could only see him.
"Indecent, but fine." Damon answered
"So then, does that mean there were no issues last night?" Mariah asked
"Nope. Slept like a baby, woke up Alaric. No head minds about dead Council members" damon answered
"Then why do I feel like you're hiding something from me?" Elena asked
"Well, maybe because you're being all paranoid and control freaky." Damon shrugged. He reached out and grabbed the bag Mariah was holding " What'd you bring me?" He asked, sniffing the inside of it
"Ooo, chocolate muffins. You know what they say; a way to a psycho killer's heart is through his stomach." He spoke and Mariah took the bag back from him.
"They're not for you." Elena told him
"Fine. Keep convincing yourself you're still mad at me. But sadly, Ric's gonna have to miss Elena and Mariah time today. You know lockdown and all." Damon told them
"Just take it and give it to him and tell him that we miss him, okay?" Mariah told him, handing him the bag and coffee they got for Rik
"With pleasure." Damon told her
"Please." Elena told him and Damon started to shut the door
"Have a great day, thanks for coming by." He told them as he shut the door
"Dam..." elena and Mariah spoke at the same time, being cut off by Damon shutting the door. Mariah scoffed
"U know what? I might just kill for sport" she stated as she and elena started to walk down the stairs. Damon walked back into the loft where Stephan and Alaric were
"Walking down the stairs...opening the front door.. and their gone." Damon stated and Alaric started the saw again, beginning to cut the bridge sign

Elena and Caroline walked through the woods when Matt walked up to them.
"Hey. What's with the cryptic secret meeting text?" Matt asked
"I don't know. Stefan just said to meet here." Elena answered when Damon and Stephan walked up to them
"Where's Bonnie?" Stephan asked "I texted her too."
"Um, Bonnie's mom bailed on her. Again. So, I think we should leave her out of this one." Caroline answered
"What ab Mariah? Why isn't she here?" Elena asked
"Because shes on team Kol now and we can't trust her" Damon answered
"What are we doing here?" Matt asked
"We found some more white oak. Long story, wait for the movie." Damon answered
"Hang on. White oak? You have a weapon that can kill Klaus?" Elena asked
"Nope. We all have a weapon." Stephan told them, dropping a bag of white oak stakes on the ground, shocking the others.
