The Tomb

Anna shoved Elena into the bathroom of the hotel room she brought her too after kidnapping her. Elena sighed, turning on the light switch and turning to see Mariah and Bonnie laying unconscious in the bath tub together
"Omg" Elena panicked, running over to them. She grabbed two rags and got them wet, rushing over to the girls that were laid on top of one another and pressing the wet rags to their heads. The two woke up and Mariah pushed off of Bonnie, sitting up as the two looked around
"Elena?" They asked
"Oh, you're okay" elena sighed, putting her hands on their shoulders.
"My head..." Bonnie groaned
"Come here." Elena pulled her up
"Oh my god! Ben is a-" Bonnie started and Elena shushed her. She gestured to her ear and walked over, turning on the sink.
"They can hear." Elena whispered
"I'm so stupid!" Bonnie cringed at herself
"No, he had all of us fooled" Mariah told her
"What's going on? Why are we here?" Bonnie asked
"It must have something to do with the tomb and Emily's spell book." Elena told them
"Spell book?" Bonnie asked
"Damon said it could be used to open the tomb." Elena answered
"Why didn't I know about any of this?" Bonnie asked
"I was trying to keep you out of it, hoping it would never come to this." Elena answered.
"Come to what?" Mariah asked
"They need a witch to break the spell and let the vampires out" Elena answered
"No way!" Bonnie shook her head
"I know." Elena nodded when Ben bursted into the room, shutting off the sink
"You're wasting your time. I'm not gonna help you." Bonnie told Ben. Ben smiled, coming over and grabbing elena
"That's why she's here. Motivation for both of you to behave." He pointed at Mariah and Bonnie and then looked at Bonnie "You know, you shouldn't be so desperate. You made it too easy." He pulled elena up and shoved her out the door "She wants to talk to you" he told elena as he threw her out. Mariah and Bonnie shared a scared look.

After a few minutes, ben brought Bonnie and Mariah out to the main room of the hotel room with the beds.
"Sit. Behave." Ben told them. "So you're the key to this. Literally. The one who opens the door. Tell me, how long have you two been witches?"
"Is there anything to drink here?" Elena asked
"Are you offering?" Ben asked and elena looked at him nervously "There's water on the night stand." He pointed and elena moved over, grabbing it
"Hey. Can I have a sip?" Bonnie whispered. Elena looked at her confused and Mariah grabbed it from her, throwing the water onto bed and Bonnie set him on fire. Ben started to panick the the girls ran for the door. Bonnie and Mariah made it out and Ben grabbed elena.
"Come back in! Shut the door!" He yelled at the other two and they moved back in nervously
"Don't hurt her" Mariah told him
"Don't make me!" Ben fumed. Bonnie shut the foor
"Lock it!" Ben told her and Bonnie locked the door.

"So..Witches don't have eternal life, right? So you guys can die." Ben asked Bonnie and Mariah
"Yep. We can die." Bonnie answered quietly
"Ah. That sucks." Ben told them when Stephan bursted through the door. Bed got away from the sun panickingly
"Stefan!" Elena yelled as the three stood up off the bed
" get outside!" Stephan yelled and the girls ran out.

Damon and Elena walked through the woods when Tyler jogged up to them
"Elena!" He stopped in front of them "u seen Mariah? She hasn't answered my calls and she bailed on me at the grill yesterday"
"Uh..sorry Tyler. I haven't seen her. I think Bonnie had an emergency and she went with her. I think she's at home but we gotta go." Elena told him, walking away with Damon following. Tyler huffed, walking away.

Mariah moved over and put her hands on the tomb door
"U think I could siphon the spell off?" She asked grams as she and Bonnie got ready to do the spell
"Siphons aren't meant to have magic of their own. If they siphon too much and don't exert it all quickly, ur body will try other ways to exert it" grams answered
"By?" Mariah asked
"It would be painful. It would make u weak until it killed u and ur magic would go out of control" she told her. Mariah's face dropped. She looked down
"Being a siphoning witch sucks" she stated "so..how do we do this?"
"Air, earth, fire" grams pointed out
"Water" Bonnie handed her some water and grams took it
"What's it? Just water from the tap?" Elena asked
"As opposed to what?" Grams asked
"I just figured maybe it would have to be blessed or mystical or something" Elena shrugged.
"We're ready" Bonnie told Elena and the others.
