—Mariah stood on the trails at klauss mansion in mystic falls. She looked around at all the bright green trees and bushes..the pretty flowers along the sides of the paths. She smiled at it before sensing Kol behind her. She smiled bigger, turning around to see him. Kol chuckled

"I rly can't sneak up on u, can i?" He smiled at her. Mariah chuckled, shaking her head

"Nope" she answered slowly. Kol smiled at her before moving over quickly, picking her up and spinning her around making her laugh happily. He set her down, resting his forehead against hers

"I miss u" he whispered.

"At least u can see me..." Mariah took a deep breath
"there aren't even any photos of u I can look at" she chuckled sadly, her hands resting on his chest. Kol moved his hand to her right hand, touching her charm bracelet

"There's always this picture" he told her, opening the locket and showing her the picture of them dancing at the ball back in mystic falls. Mariah smiled

"Yeah, there is always that picture" she nodded

"We'll see each other again, Mariah" Kol whispered "u will bring me back..and I will show u the world just like we planned" he told her making her smile "and we will have our happily ever after" he told her. Mariah smiled, nodding her head

"Sounds like a plan" she agreed happily. Kol smiled, leaning in and kissing her slowly before pulling away abruptly.(music stops) Mariah looked at him confused
"Kol?" She spoke as Kol backed up, groaning in pain as he looked down at himself to see a red stab wound in his chest. "Omg" Mariah put her hands over her mouth "Kol" she cried out worriedly. Kol looked back at her nervously before his skin started to burn. Kol started to scream in pain, dropping down to his knees "Kol!" Mariah yelled, dropping down in front of him "what's happening?!" She yelled as Kol screamed in pain. Kol shoved her away

"Get back!" He yelled before bursting into flames

"No!" Mariah yelled. Kol moved around panickingly as he burned before dropping to the ground. Mariah stood up hurriedly, waving her hand as she spoke a spell, putting out the fire. She breathed heavily as she panicked, rushing over to Kol "Kol" she shook him as she looked at his burn, distorted body that she couldn't even recognize. Mariah started to cry "no" she cried out, looking at his burnt body. The scenery around Mariah started to change making her look around confused as she watched the trees, flowers and grass turn into walls and a ceiling. Mariah was now in her old home, sitting by kols dead body still..right next to the dining room table where he died. She turned and looked behind her to see the spot of blood from when her nose bled, when she passed out on the ground. She then moved her eyes a few feet away to where kols dead body laid right next to where she once laid unconscious. Mariah moved her shaky hand and held it over her mouth as tears fell from her eyes "I'm so sorry" she cried when kols eyes opened making Mariah gasp

"U could have saved me..but u didn't..and now ur taking ur sweet precious time to bring me back." He looked at her angrily "ur as selfish..and evil as the rest of them. The rest of my family..the rest of ur family..Silas..all of them. Ur all evil. Ur evil!" He yelled at her—

Mariah gasped, sitting up in her bed as she breathed heavily, sweat dripping down her face as she placed her hand on her chest, trying to calm herself down

"I'm right here, darling" Kol told her, sitting next to her on her bed "I'm right here" he told her. Mariah pulled her legs to her chest, resting her elbows on her knees as she ran her hands through her hair. She sniffled before realizing Kol was right next to her. She turned her head, glancing at the empty space next to her on the bed where she knew Kol was
