Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.

December 16, 2022.

Madison Stone's Point Of View.

We enter the courtroom and sit next to each other on the right side of the room and to the left of where the judge will sit when he enters.

I look around and see the people from the school that I had seen when I arrived and others that I had not seen as well, people who will probably testify against Alexander and Williams.

I keep knocking my legs together due to the great nervousness and anxiety present in my body until everyone present is asked to stand for the judge's entrance.

The judge enters together with the members of the jury and sits in the magistrate's chair. He introduces himself and explains how the trial will work, saying that the first defendant to be tried will be the former principal of the school where I study.

"You may call the defendant John Williams Tesfaye," he speaks and the large side doors are opened, causing Williams to enter and walk to the seat.

"Mr. John Williams Tesfaye, do you understand the charge you have suffered?" The judge asks.

"I understand, but I don't agree with it, your honor," he says and I quickly lower my head in denial.

How can anyone lie to a judge to his face? I know it happens often, but it is much more revolting when you see it in person and when you are part of the case and are the victim in it.

"And how does the defendant plead?"

"Not guilty, your honor," he speaks in a seriously tone and the judge agrees.

"Please sit down," He asks Williams to sit down and Williams does as he is asked.

The judge gives our lawyer the liberty to cross-examine Williams, so after he goes to the judge's side and takes the oath that he will speak only the truth, Robert gets up from his chair, which is in front of me and my chaperones and goes closer to the judge and the defendant, starting to question him.

"What was your relationship like with the students at Royalty?"

"It was pleasant and respectful," and David coughs just in time, causing everyone to listen, due to the reason that the only noise present in the place is the voice of the judge, Robert and Williams, and look at him, who seems to be embarrassed.

"It wasn't intentional your honor judge, it's because my throat itched," David defends himself and the judge just stares at him briefly serious, turning his attention back to what was going on before my friend coughed.

"Proceed with your questions, Mr. Robert."

"Thank you your honor," our lawyer thanks him and then looks at Williams. "Have you ever had any disagreements with any students?"

"No."

"Are you sure? Because you are here because you have been accused of negligence in the harassment cases that were occurring at the school, which you claimed to care about."

"I am sure."

"Then how do you explain to me the fact that some Royalty students are reporting you as an accomplice of defendant Alexander Wilson O'Connell for coercing them from seeking justice, for belittling the discomfort they felt, and for even blaming them for what happened?"

"At no time did I do that."

"Then how do you explain what was said in the statement Alexander Wilson made after being remanded in custody?"
