After Michael passed, it took the family a while to grieve of course. Paris became a bit suicidal but therapy is helping her out. After Michael visited Janet and Desiree he made other visits too. He saw his wife, children, mother, siblings and he visited Skai again. Not a day goes by that Katherine doesn't think about her son. She misses him dearly and wishes hell on the doctor. The family found out that the doctor gave him the amount of drugs on purpose. He heard that Michael put him in his will so he killed him, wanting to get his money.
The doctors plan almost failed because Paris was in the room but Michael passed before he could inject him with some more drugs. It was all a lie because when Whitney read the will, the doctors name was nowhere to be found. The doctor went to court and was found guilty for murder. He is now doing time for the murder he committed.
A few months after Desiree was born, Janet had to go back to film for the movie. LaToya ended up staying with Toni until Janet came back being that she needed help with the newborn. Once Janet finished filming, Tyler wanted her to another movie called For colored girls, featuring stars like Phylica Rashād, Whoopi Goldberg, Anika Noni Rose and more. She was going to decline the offer to stay with her family but Toni told her to take the offer.
Tamar still lives with her sister and is in her senior year of high school. She cannot wait to leave that place called school. She'll miss the friends that she made there but she hates that place. After she finishes high school, she plans on dropping an album and then going to college. Her album will be self titled and she knows that this album will sell records. As for the album she did with her sisters, they won two Grammy awards and they were excited. They never been to the Grammys before so it was their first time going. Evelyn has apologized to Tamar and she accepted her apology. They are slowly patching up their mother and daughter relationship.
As for Toni, she doesn't want that to happen to her. Evelyn hurt her so bad that she doesn't want her back in her life. Toni is perfectly fine with her wife and three children by her side. Toni forgave her sister, Towanda and she promised to never to that again to her sister. After giving birth, Toni starred in a movie called Kingdom come, along with her friend Jada and Aunt Maxine.
Skai is still in preschool and she can't wait to go to real school like her aunt Tamar. She will be six in a few months and swears that she will be grown. Kyla is still her best friend and they don't plan on not being friends. The two of them does everything together, it's quiet hard to separate them.
About a year after Michael passed, the Jackson couple added a new member to the family. The same social worker who worked on Skai's case, placed another little girl in their care. She did a thorough search on the little girl's family so the adoption process went smoother. Her name is Azuree and she's the sweetest. She has short locs and is a year older than Skai. When Azuree came to the Jackson's house she was a bit shy at first but quickly warmed up. Now Skai has someone around her age to play with.
Desiree just turned two years old and is the cutest little girl. She still looks like Janet with little to no features of Toni. She talks a lot for her age and is very greedy. That's one thing she got from Toni. Janet and Toni's anniversary is in a week. The two of them don't know what they want to do but they know that they want to spend it with their kids.
As of right now, Paris is on her way to pick up her mother from rehab. A few months after her father died, her mother started doing drugs and drinking a lot. She didn't want to lose her mother too, so she forced her mother to do to rehab. Whitney didn't want to go but when she saw the concern on her children's faces, she went. Now she's clean and can't wait to go home.
While in the center, Jordin Sparks visited her and wanted Whitney to be in a movie with her and a few other stars. Whitney accepted the offer and would be playing Jordin's mother. The movie is called Sparkle which is a remake of the original 1976 film.
Paris got out of the car and leaned on it waiting for her mother. She hasn't seen her mother in about eight months. Whitney could only talk on the phone three times a week and then have very few visitors for the month. Paris saw her mother leaving the center with a big smile on her face. Her mother looked more healthy than the last time she saw her and she looked happier. Paris ran to her mother and hugged her right.
"I missed you so much mommy." Paris said truthfully.
"I missed you too baby. Thank you for making me come here." Whitney said rubbing her daughters back. She's happy that she listened to her daughter because she doesn't know what would've happened if she didn't. Her daughter is truly her angel.
"Where are the boys?"
"They are at home cooking for you." Whitney laughed and shook her head.
"They better not burn down my house."
At the Jackson's house, Azuree, Skai and Desiree played in the playroom together while their parents prepared dinner. Azuree played the role of a waitress while her sisters played the role of customers.
"What would you guys like to eat?"
"Cookies!" Desiree said excitedly.
"No you have to order food. Do you want pizza?" Skai asked her younger sister and she nodded.
"Okay, we'll have two slices of cheese pizza please."
"Alright." Azuree went to the play kitchen and gathered the play food. After the meal was done, she brought them to her sisters. Soon Toni came into the playroom to get her daughters.
"Guys, it's time for dinner."
"Okay!" The three of them said and Desiree put her arms up. Toni smiled and picked her daughter up. The four of them walked upstairs to the kitchen.
"Did you have fun playing with your sisters?"
"Yes." After dinner Toni and Janet got their daughters ready for bed. Once the three of them were in bed, Toni and Janet got in there's.
"And to think we have to do this until they are teenagers." Toni said and Janet laughed. She kissed her wife's cheek and rubbed her back. Soon a knock on the door interrupted the couple.
"Mommy."
"Come in Zee." Azuree opened the door and her two sisters stood beside her. They walked inside of the room and got on their parents bed.
"Nuh-uh, who told y'all that y'all can get in?"
"Me." Desiree said and Janet laughed.
"I guess you guys can stay." Desiree laid on Toni's chest and Azuree and Skai laid in the middle. Toni pulled the covers over them and turned off the lights.
"Goodnight baby."
"Goodnight!" They all said and Janet chuckled.
