Today we're going to the Sulphur Springs and the carnival is tomorrow. Yesterday after I came back from my great grandmother's house we went to a river. It felt so nice and a few fans noticed us but they didn't interact. I'm glad that they didn't, some fans are understanding that at the end of the day, we are still regular people. We're leaving in a few for the Sulphur Springs and I can't wait to go in the mud.

"Is it hot?" Desiree asked me and I shook my head. Our tour guide said that the mud might be a bit hot because of the weather but it's just fine for me. Desiree walked next to me, her foot getting in the mud.
"Oh, it's not hot. Put it on me." She said and I nodded. I grabbed some mud and started putting it on her legs. I already had some of the mud on me and it felt good on my skin.
"I'm washing me and my clothes." Skai said and I laughed. She's mocking that vine of the drunk girl in the tub.
"Skai you're so silly." I looked at my parents and they were just watching us in awe. My momma didn't want to get it, she says that she's been here a bunch of times. Also she got sick earlier. She threw up again and I don't know what's wrong with her. My mommy stood in the shade because of her lupus. She can't stay in the sun for too long or else she will flare up, and her symptoms can get worse. Sometimes I wish that she didn't have lupus so she could have fun with us.
"This is hot Zee." King said and I shook my head.
"That's because you bathe with cold water, stinky." My mother said and we laughed.
"Okay, Janet." He mumbled in a playful tone and I gasped.
"Boy, what did you say?"
"I love you!" King said and we all laughed. After coating ourselves in mud, our parents took a few pictures of us.

Desiree decided that she wanted to put the mud on my face and give me a facial. Of course, I let her do it. After taking pictures, we went to the waterfall to wash it off. Once we were done washing off, we headed back to the villa. I can't wait to see carnival tomorrow, I bet it's going to be so much fun.

Today is the carnival and we are sitting on the steps to watch it. It started about an hour again and the different colors are so beautiful. Some of the female costumes have feathers and their outfits are like swimwear. The men have feathers too but their outfits are just shorts. I think there are different groups because one group of people had on orange and pink outfits and another group had green and blue. And another group had yellow and black. I have to ask my great-grandmother about that later. As for the music, ten out of ten. The people are singing, dancing, and having fun. The DJs know what to play.

People started to notice us but like before at the Sulphur Springs, they didn't come to us. They just waved at us and we waved back. Desiree began dancing and the people started cheering her on. Mommy pulled out her phone and started recording her.
"Go baby!" She said hyping her up and I laughed. I looked at King and he was watching these two women dancing on each other. Boys, I swear.
I would like to come back here again. I'll probably be in the carnival, who knows.
2 days later
Today we are leaving to go back home. We all got tanned, especially me because I was always outside. Before we left I went to say goodbye to my great-grandmother. She gave me jewelry she had bought for me when I was younger thinking I would come back, but I never did, until now. The jewelry consisted of gold initial earrings, a gold heart necklace, and a few Caribbean bangles. She told me that it's a blend of African, European, and Indian designs and it's passed down from generations. So I could give them to my children if I have any. I also gave her my number so that she could call me anytime, I told her not to be a stranger and we laughed. She also gave me these crackers for my sister Skai, she saw her eating them the other day and we don't have them in California.
We are now on the jet and we're about to take off. I looked out of the window and took a few pictures of the sun setting. We have a late flight but by the time we get to LA, it will still be daytime. Once the jet took off, I got up and headed to the room that they are in. I knocked on the door and called out for them,
"Mommy, Momma?"
"Yes, baby?" I opened the door and saw them cuddling each other. I took off my Crocs and crawled in between them. Mommy played with my locs and I spoke,
"I had a lot of fun here and I just wanted to thank you guys for teaching me about my culture and bringing me here. You guys are the best parents ever and I love you guys."
"Aww baby we love you too." They each kissed my cheek and I smiled before hugging both of them.
"Oh and momma, are you sick?"
"No, why did you ask?"
"King said he heard you throwing up this morning..."
"Oh, no I'm not sick. I don't know what was going on with me this morning but I'm fine now."
"Okay, just making sure."
"Yes, doctor." My mother joked with me and we laughed. I got up from the bed and sat back in my seat.
"There are some fine women out here."
"Trust me we know. We saw you looking." Skai said to King and chuckled.
"Hey, it isn't my fault. What Uncle Snopp said, all that ass, hanging out..."
"You are stupid!" I said and hit his arm. For the remainder of the flight back home, I watched the Cosby Show and slept. I can't wait to go home, I miss my bed. Although I'll miss it here...
