Waking up in Baltimore felt so good, I've missed that. I woke up at about nine because of the times changing. I called Janet a few minutes ago and spoke to the girls before they started school. Desiree was still sleeping so I'll call back later. Today we're filming and I think the film crew is going to meet us in the hotel lobby.
After my shower, I oiled my skin and then got dressed. I put on this dark green tracksuit since Baltimore is way colder than LA. I then put on my brown vest that matched my Uggs. I get to see my other siblings today and I'm so excited. I've missed them so much and I know that they've been missing me too.
I think my brother is coming along with my nieces Ashlee and Lauren. I haven't seen him in a really really long time, I think since I moved to California. I left out of my hotel room because my aunt and sister are waiting on me. We're going to eat breakfast at this diner not far from the hotel. My aunt Teri drove us there while we engaged in conversation.
"Do you miss your kids Toni?"
"Of course. I'm surprised that they haven't called me twenty million times already."
"Right, same with my kids but they're older now so they'll get over it faster." We laughed and I shook my head. She's a mess.
Janet's POV
"Momma I want bobbies!" Desiree yelled. This has been going on for about ten minutes. She knows that Toni has left and I don't have any breast milk so I don't know why she keeps asking.
"I don't have any D."
"Mommy has."
"I know and is she here?"
Silence.
"Exactly."
"I call her."
"Go ahead." I gave her my phone and she went straight to the call log, pressing on Toni's name. The phone rang for a while before Toni answered.
"Mommy I want boobies." She told Toni before she could even say anything.
"Umm, you must be joking." I laughed and took the phone from Desiree.
"She's not joking. She has been saying that she wants boobies for about ten minutes so I told her to call you."
"Oh, I'm sorry Des there's no milk at home."
"No bobbies?"
"Yes, no bobbies I didn't pump because you're getting too old for bobbies now."
"I two." Toni and I laughed.
"I know how old you are baby. What can momma give you to make you not want bobbies anymore?"
"Ice cream!"
"Okay, momma will get you ice cream. Janet."
"I have no choice now." I chuckled and got up from the couch and Desiree followed me into the kitchen. I set my phone up so Toni could see us and picked Desiree up, sitting her on the counter. After talking to Toni on the phone for a while, she had to go and meet her sisters. Once I made a bowl of ice cream for Desiree, I gave it to her and she immediately ate it. She's going to be hyper all day.
While she ate her ice cream, I decided to clean the kitchen a little bit. This morning we had about thirty minutes to spare before the teachers came to the house and the girls decided that they wanted to make pancakes. They got flour and batter all over the place. Some even got on the ceiling and Toni is going to be so mad when she comes home. I stepped on the counter and wiped down the ceiling with a damp towel.
"Momma don't fall." Desiree said and I smiled.
"I'm trying not to." Once it was clean I stepped down and rinsed the towel. I then washed the dishes and then put them up to dry. Once the kitchen was all cleaned I grabbed Desiree and we headed upstairs. She was all sticky from the ice cream and I winced.
"Were your clothes eating the ice cream too?"
"No, me momma."
"Okay, just making sure." I took her to our room and sat her on our bed. I picked out these light pink overalls and a tie-dye shirt for her to wear. I then picked her up and grabbed her towel, walked to the bathroom. I ran the water on warm while I took off her clothes.
"Do you have to potty?" I asked before I took off her diaper. She's potty trained already but we only put on a diaper on her when she falls asleep.
"No." I nodded and took her diaper off throwing it in the trash. I then put her dirty clothes in the hamper. By that time, the tub was half full and I placed her in there. I added a few of her toys in there to entertain her.
"Is it too hot?" She shook her head no and I nodded. I began bathing her as she played with her toys. After she was clean I wrapped her up in her towel and brought her to our room. I laid her on the bed and began drying her skin. Once Desiree's skin was dry, I rubbed baby lotion all over her body. I then put on her clothes and did her hair. I styled her hair in two braids with colorful beads at the ends and with two puffs. I then added a few pink knockers to her puffs.
(Idk if y'all call it knockers but I don't. I call them bubblies 😭)
"A picture for mommy." She told me and I nodded. I grabbed my phone and we headed to the balcony.
"Are you gonna smile?"
"Yes!" I took a few pictures of her and sent them to Toni. We headed back inside and she climbed onto the bed. I hung her towel up to dry and got in the bed next to her.
