69| Potty mouth

Toni's POV

A few minutes ago I got a call from Azuree's manager and a director by the name of Rob Marshall wants her in the movie. I told her manager that I would get back to him after I spoke to her.

"Hi, Mommy."

"Hi baby, come sit down I have something to tell you."

"Okayyyy, is it good or bad?"

"Depends on how you take it."

"Now I'm scared." I laughed,

"Don't be baby. Your manager called me and someone by the name of Rob Marshall wants you to audition for a role in the Little Mermaid." Her face brightened and I smiled.

"Me?! Me?!"

"Yes, you baby."

"Oh my gosh! Will I be Ursula cause if so call him back and tell him no." I laughed and shook my head,

"No, he said that you'll be auditioning to be the mermaid. Ariel." She screamed and I covered my ears. I think she's excited. She got on top of me and kissed all over my face. I giggled and she soon stopped.

"Thank you, mommy!"

"You don't have to thank me. So I take it as a yes?"

"Yes! One hundred times yes!"

"Okay, I'll call him back after we come back from your sister's appointment." Skai is getting her cast taken off today and I know that she's excited. It's just going to be me and her going so Janet will be staying home with the kids.

"Hold my hand Mommy I'm scared." Skai said and I laughed. She's sitting in the bed while Jackie held the saw in her hands.

"It's not going to hurt."

"That doesn't mean that I'm not going to be scared." I sighed and held her hand.

"The saw isn't going to cut you because it goes side to side. Only the vibrations break the cast apart. You might laugh because it tickles." Jackie explained and Skai shook her head.

"I doubt that." Jackie turned on the saw and began using it on Skai's leg. She squeezed my hand as the saw cut through her cast. About ten minutes later, her cast was off.

"Whew! I missed my leg." We laughed.

"Does it stink?" She asked Jackie.

"I don't know. You want to smell?"

"Nope, you're the doctor."

"Now that your cast is off that part of your leg may be dry or flaky which is normal. Exercise your joints, maybe swimming and occasionally stretching your leg, nothing hardcore. Don't scratch your leg and if it starts swelling then come in."

"Okay thank you." After our doctor's visit, we picked up some food, and a vegan-friendly meal for Azuree, then headed home.

"Mommy, is this a new place?" Azuree asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah Tamar had it the other day and she said that you should try it. Is it good or bad?"

"It's good. Very good. The smoothie is bomb too." I got her a vegan Crunchwrap with a peach-raspberry smoothie. She took a big bite out of her wrap and I laughed.

"Dang little lady you sure can put it away." Christian said and we laughed.

"Okay, King because look at your plate. You wanna eat the metal fork next?" She said and I gasped in shock. Janet and I cackled at King's face.
