Nobody's POV
"I'm never hanging out with you guys again." Toni said on the phone with Tamar. It's been a few days since Tamar's birthday and the couple hasn't properly recovered.
"Still recovering?"
"Yessss. I still feel drunk."
Tamar laughed, "But you had fun didn't you?"
"Sure did. We woke up the next morning with a massive headache."
"Our kids woke us up. I think they found it hilarious that we were hung over." Janet said and Tamar laughed.
"Don't worry, in a few years you can get them back."
"Trust me, we'll keep that in mind."
"Oh, I heard that your kids were in jail."
"Yes, they were. A student was raped by a teacher, and that caused the riot. Police showed up and everything."
"What? That's crazy. Parents spend all that money on tuition to send their kids to school only for a teacher to rape a student."
"Exactly what I was saying, teachers are so weird these days."
"That's not weird that's sick." Tamar said and made a face.
"That too. But the kids are fine, just a scare because you know how racist these cops are."
"Yes, I know and I saw King's face. Poor thing."
"Mmmhmm and he says that he doesn't remember the cops' names that did that to him."
"Positive things now. Which area 65 is the party held at?" King's birthday is in two days and he is having a party at Area 65. It's an arcade, skating rink, paintball, laser tag place all in one.
"The one close to Mama K's house and the theme is 90's so remember."
"Yes, I will. Imma dress up as you."
"Please don't. I think Desiree said that she was going to be me but she didn't tell me what she was going to wear. I think I'm going to be... I don't know yet." Tamar laughed.
"I'm going to be myself, velvet rope era minus the red hair."
"Ouuuu tie me up tie me downnnn."
"Okay Tamar, don't start."
"Whew! I didn't even start, don't let me start, 'cause I will. Loveeeeee stroke me so gently my loveeeee."
"I love it when you mmmmm." Janet moaned and Toni's mouth dropped.
"Tamar let me call you back." Janet laughed.
"That moan turned you on huh? You don't gotta call me back, I'll see you guys tomorrow if y'all can walk." Tamar cackled as she hung up.

"This place is cool." Paris said and Toni laughed.
"You're such a big kid."
"Yup, I'm still young. Let's go, Papa." Paris said as she picked up her younger cousin. Toni shook her head.
"I guess we won't have to be watching him."
"That's good. I'm tired of that boy."
"Toni stop." Janet said as they sat down.
"I'm just messing with you, baby." Toni said and she leaned in to kiss her wife. Just as their lips were about to touch, Eissa interrupted them. He climbed onto Janet's lap,
"No!" He said and pushed Toni away from Janet. She laughed and kissed his cheek.
"That's my baby."
"Ughh, y'all make me sick." Toni said and playfully rolled her eyes.
King's POV
I laughed as I knocked down Desiree from the balance beam. We both had this long foam bar in our hands and we had to knock each other down. She knocked me down once but I knocked her down twice. She got up from the foam pit with a smile on her face.
"King!"
"Looserrrr! Next!" I said and saw Prince come into my view. Desiree handed him the foam bar and got out of the foam pit. I immediately hit him with the bar but he kept his balance.
"You gonna lose." Prince told me and I laughed. He hit me hard and I lost my balance. I fell into the pit and I heard Desiree giggling.
"That's what you get!" After playing with them for a while, we decided to go roller skating.
"Nuh-uh, not them skating." I heard Azuree say and I saw my parents skating.
"They're actually killing it." Skai said and I nodded in agreement.
"Hello, guys." Momma said as they skated towards us.
"Hey, I didn't know you guys could skate."
"Of course, we can skate, cool people skate, don't they?"
"You guys are not cool." Desiree said as she put on her skates.
"Wait, you know how to skate Des?"
"No, but I'm going to learn today." She stood up and almost fell.
"Woah, I thought it would've been easier." While Desiree learned how to skate, I played tag with my siblings and cousins around the rink. For our last task of the day we had to choose between laser tag or paintball. We chose laser tag because it's less dangerous and it's longer than paintball.
I'm on the blue team which includes Genevieve, Blanket, Yashi, Momma, Desiree, Skai, Stevanna, and Auntie Rebbie. The red team includes Mommy, Autumn, Paris, Prince, Azuree, Stacee, Auntie Tamar, and Kyla.
The rules of the game are to shoot the laser beam to a person on the opposing team. If that person gets tagged three times, by different people, they are out. The team with the most people at the end of the session wins. If you accidentally tag your teammate, nothing will happen which is good.
"Ready?"
"Yes!" We all went inside and it was a bit dark, like how it's supposed to be. I feel like I'm in a Criminal Minds episode with this vest and gun in my hand. I slowly turned the corner and saw my mother with her back turned. Just as I was about to laser shoot her, Paris came into my view and shot me.
"That's what you get for trying to sneak me." Now I only have two more strikes left. I left them and went to another spot. I saw Desiree tying her shoes and I covered her. Laser tag is a fun game and it tires you out. By the end of the game, Stacee and I were the only two standing on our team so we were deemed losers.
I had fun today hanging out with my family. When I turn eighteen, I'm going to the club!
