Nobody's POV

"Mommy!" Eissa yelled as she walked inside of the house.

"Yes, Papa?"

"Come outside I found a baby cat."

"You found a baby cat?"

"Yes, it's grey and white and black." He grabbed Toni's hand and led her outside. She looked outside and didn't see any sign of the cat.

"Where is it, baby?" He went into the bush and grabbed the animal that he thought was a kitten. Toni's eyes widened and she backed away. "Eissa put that down that's not a kitten."

"Yes, it is mommy. Are you scared?" He asked as he walked closer and Toni nodded. Indeed she was scared, her son was holding a baby raccoon.

"Yes because it's a baby raccoon. Put it down."

"It's a baby cat! You don't know your animals."

"Eissa I won't argue with you about it but you need to put it down."

"Can we keep it?" Eissa asked ignoring what his mother had told him. Desiree walked outside and saw her brother holding the baby raccoon.

"Des tell your brother that it's a raccoon and not a kitten."

"Eissa you heard Mommy." She said as she pulled out her phone to take a picture. He saw the camera and posed with the animal. She chuckled and sent the photo to Janet.

"Eissa put it down, I'm not playing!" Hearing rustling in the bushes Toni turned around and saw the mother raccoon. She cursed under her breath and quickly moved out of the way.

"Oh look it's the mommy cat."

"Oh no, I'm out of here!" Desiree said and ran inside.

"Okay give the cat back to its mom."

"Can we keep them?"

"No! Put it down, boy!" Eissa sighed and put the raccoon down. It ran to its mother and the two of them disappeared into the bushes.

"Why couldn't we keep them?"

"Because they are raccoons." She picked Eissa up by his waist and immediately brought him to the bathroom. She turned on the pipes and placed a hefty amount of soap on his hands.

"Wash your arms too like a doctor."

"Dr. Eissa."

"Yes, Dr. Eissa."

"Mommy, why couldn't we keep the cat and its mommy?"

"Because it wasn't a cat, it was a raccoon. I'll show you a picture." After he finished washing his hands and arms, Toni dried them for him. He then played inside because Toni didn't want him to go back outside. As she walked to the kitchen, her phone buzzed in her pocket and she picked it up, answering the call.

"Hi, baby."

"Hi, love. Did Eissa really have a raccoon or is it fake?" She laughed knowing that Desiree had sent the picture to Janet.

"Yes he did and he thought it was a raccoon. He even wanted to keep it and the mother when she showed up."

Janet busted out laughing, "And you were scared?"

"Yes! Those things have rabies."

"Was it foaming at the mouth?"

"No."

"Then it didn't have rabies and it was a baby too. I think babies are fine."

"Are you a veterinarian?"
