15| Shawnette Heard... Again!

All of the Jacksons were at Katherine's house for Sunday dinner. This was going to be their first Sunday dinner in a while. Katherine hadn't been feeling well the past few Sundays as to why the dinners were canceled. But now she's feeling much better and today is the dinner. All of the cousins were running around playing, causing havoc as always.

"Oh! I knew I had something to tell you, Mama." Whitney said as she helped Katherine in the kitchen.

"What is it?"

"Paris said that she saw Shawnette and Skai said the same thing."

"That heifer. I'm tired of her." Janet's eyes widened and she covered her mouth, laughing.

"I'm serious Janet. Isn't she supposed to be in jail?"

"I know and I don't know what happened. I believe Skai because she has never seen her before, only in pictures."

"Was jail not enough for her that she had to visit my grandchildren? Whitney, you better deal with her and you know what I'm talking about."

"I got you Mama K." Whitney nodded.

"No violence." Toni said and they all side-eyed her.

"Okay then..."

"Like Whitney said the other day, she just needs one good-ass whopping."

"Amen, and she will leave us alone." Once dinner was ready, a few members helped set the table. Katherine said grace and everyone dug in after. Desiree sat in her high chair with a plate full of food.

"Best believe she will eat all of it too." Katherine said. She knew that her granddaughter loves food just like her mother Janet. Desiree ate all of her food with some all over have face and clothes. Toni wiped her down and she went off to play with her siblings and cousins. The adults helped Katherine clean and wash the dishes. Once everything was cleaned they sat on the couch. Janet sat in her mother's recliner chair and Toni shook her head.

"Mama gon get you."

"Mind ya business."

"Janet get up outta my chair!" Janet rolled her eyes and got up as her wife laughed.

"Remember we live in the same house." Toni shrugged and continued laughing.

"You better leave her."

"Wowww." Suddenly the doorbell rang and they all went silent.

"Now who is that?"

"I have no idea, everyone is here." Kathrine shrugged and Tito went to get the door.

"Oh lord." He said and closed the door. He went back to the living room and looked at his sister.

"Don't tell me..."

"Yup." He said and Janet sighed. She looked at her mother and she shook her head.

"Nuh-uh. She has some fucking nerve!" Kathrine said and got up from her chair. They all walked to the door with mugs on their face.

"Listen here, first you talk to my daughter and then you stalk my niece and now you show up at my mother's house! What do you want?!" Janet was angry. She thought this whole Shawnette situation was over with. She now regrets hiring her as a dancer.

"I just wanted to apologize for what I did wrong. I realized that in jail and I'm really sorry."

"Fake ass apology." Rebbie mumbled and Toni agreed.
