A/N; I got an industrial piercing today and that shit hurt asf. Yk that video of LaToya getting tased? LMFAOAOOAOA yup, that's exactly how I felt 😭 and if y'all dk that video— then the one where she went to get a belly piercing which I was originally going to get but I changed my mind. Anyways I'm in pain asf but I took a Tylenol earlier. ENUFF of me chatting, enjoy this chap!
21| Momma is fun!
Toni's POV
I got out of the car before my aunt and sister. We just arrived at the cemetery where my grandmother is buried. I haven't been here since Traci was pregnant. I dusted off her tombstone and placed the catchflies next to it. I felt a tear fall down my face and I quickly wiped it. I hate crying when I come here but it just happens. I sniffled and kneeled on the dirt.
"I know I haven't been here in a while and I'm sorry. I'm pretty sure you've seen what I've been doing. Janet and I have three beautiful daughters now, you have great-grandchildren. I know that you're jumping for joy in heaven." I said and smiled.
"I think we're going to have more children together, probably a boy. I know you've been watching me trying to rekindle my relationship with Evelyn and I honestly don't think that it's going to work out. I think I want her back in my life but if I do, I feel like she's going to stab me in my back. I don't know Grandma, I want her to get to know my kids because that's their grandmother but if she hurt me then she will hurt the girls. Maybe I'm thinking too much about this and I should probably give her a chance. But one chance, that's it." I said chuckling. I can hear her right now telling me that it's my decision to make on my own. After I finished talking to her, my aunts and Tamar went and we were on our way back to the hotel.
Once I got in my room, I immediately went to take a shower. I took a long hot shower and the bathroom filled up with steam. After I was done, I dried my skin, oiled my body down, and put on my nightgown. I took my phone off of the charger and saw a miss call from Janet. I smiled and pressed the notification. It called her and she soon picked up. Well, Desiree did, with her face all in the camera.
"Mommy!"
"Hi Des baby. Can you back up from the phone a bit?"
"What?" She asked me and I laughed. I saw Janet grab the phone and I smiled widely. I miss my baby so much, I want to go home right now today.
"Hi, love."
"Hi, baby. I miss you."
"I miss you too. Are the girls behaving for you?"
"Only when they want to." She said and I laughed.
"I good!" I heard Desiree say and Janet gave the phone back to her.
"You're being good for momma?"
"Yes. We paint." Oh lord.
"Janet." I sternly said and she looked at the camera.
"I had to keep them busy or else they would've kept bugging me. You know today is Saturday so they want a lot of things to do." She explained and I laughed. The girls are running Janet and I just know it. That's what they do. You see, I'm the more stern parent so they know not to cross me. Janet is the more fun parent so they get whatever they want from her. I keep on telling her that she can't let the girls do whatever they want but those are her girls.
"Janet put your foot down." I joked and we laughed.
"You know I can't do that baby. They're so cute." She said and poked Desiree's cheek causing her to laugh. She pushed Janet's hands away and I smiled. See what I said, they're her girls.
"Okay, where are the other two girls?" She flipped the camera around showing me Skai and Azuree who were coloring on the floor.
"Hi, my babies." Their ears perked up and they got up from the floor, grabbing the phone from Janet. Azuree flipped the camera and I saw the two of them on the screen.
"Okay then." I heard Janet mumble and I laughed.
"Hi, Mommy!" The two of them excitedly said into the phone and I smiled.
"Hi, babies. Are you guys having fun with momma?"
"I almost got stung by a jellyfish when we went to the beach and momma said she would've had to pee on me which is nasty. I brought two crabs home and a fish but momma said they are gonna die if we keep them for long because they are not in their home." What is going on? This is why I don't leave Janet with the kids because she lets them run wild.
"Yes, momma is real fun. And at the beach, Desiree ate some sand but it was an accident. Then she let me drive her car a little bit and I almost crashed—"
"Okay, that's enough. Telling all of my business." Azuree explained before she got cut off by Janet and my mouth dropped. See what I mean? Janet just lets the kids no any and everything.
"Go play now because y'all just got me in trouble." Janet joked with them and they laughed.
"Janet, what do you have my kids doing?"
"Nothinggggg. You know kids have a wild imagination."
"No, I got a crab and a fish. You wanna see Mommy?" I heard Skai say in the background and I laughed.
"Not right now baby, I'll see later." I heard her say a small okay and Janet looked at me smiling.
"Don't smile at me. Why did you let our six-year-old drive?"
"See now that was a drag. She sat on top of me while I pressed the gas and she turned the wheel. We were just in the driveway."
"Mmm and what did she almost crash into?"
"What? She didn't almost crash." Janet said in a high-pitched tone and tugged on her ear. Janet is such a liar. I chuckled and called Azuree's name.
"Azuree."
"Into your car!"
"Okay, that's enough. No ice cream after dinner." Janet said and they whined.
"Nooo! I was just joking Mommy, Desiree didn't eat sand and Skai doesn't have animals."
"Too late, y'all already got me in trouble."
"Damn right. You're gonna get it when I get back."
"I'll be waitingggg." Janet sang and then smiled. I'm dealing with a freak here and I love it.
