Sanem rises up out of the water, the coolness of it making her smile at the sky. When she turns, Can is rising up out of the water just like in her dream and she stares at him.
"Mr Can?" she asks in shock.
He closes in another step, the only step that seperated them mind you, and puts his arms around her waist.
"No," she blinks, feeling his hands on her. "You're not real..." She starts laughing at her idiotic imagination and shakes her head. "No, no..." He recoils as she pushes him off and tries to run through the water. "You're a figment of my imagination again!" She yells and moves faster.
"Why are you always running from me?!" Can calls, shaking his head at her comic movements. "In the air, on the ground, in the water - doesn't even matter anymore!"
"I'm running because you're not real!"
"You really think I won't catch you?"
He lets the water take him to the edge and starts running through the sand, his jeans slowing him down more than her shorts did her."Mr Can! Don't come near me! I mean it!" Sanem yells when she sees his projection chasing her. "Don't come near me!" She squeals again and when he catches her and turns her around, holding her close to him, she stared - out of breath, with his nose against hers and his arms back around her to keep her from flailing.
"I'm as real as you are," he whispers and pushes her hair back gently with one hand. "Are you actually mad at me for being real?" He looks at her wet lips, purple from the cold water and her light pink lipstick.
"Mr Can," Sanem swallows. "What's happening?" she asks in confusion, blinking hard.
Can takes a second and then he lifts a shoulder. "Honestly, I have no idea either."
"I told you I want to be alone."
And when have you ever left me alone when I asked, hm, Sanem?
"Why did you come here?"
"I don't know," Can breathes, looking into her eyes, her hands clutching his drenched shirt at the front. "I don't know why I'm here. Maybe I just had another question to ask." She keeps looking at him and he tightens his grip. "Why do you want to be alone?"
Sanem looks down at her hands on his shirt then says hesitantly, "To think about things." She doesn't even sound sure to herself. "To try and understands..." She trails off when he gives her a small smile.
He had been right before - she was as scared as he was. "What if I refuse to leave you alone?" he asks. "What if we were alone together to think about things?" Sanem looks up at his hooded eyes, baring into hers. "Don't you want that? To be alone with me like I want to be alone with you?"
Sanem pulls her lips in and smiles at him, a blush creeping up her cheeks. Maybe... I mean, that's all I want...
Can leans even closer, her smile and shining eyes giving him his answer and puts his head to hers, his nose rubbing her nose again and his lips inches away. Sanem closes her eyes and waits for impact.
"Can!"
Sanem's eyes fly open and widen when she hears Deren's voice.
"Where are you?! Can?!"
Shoving him lightly so he'd let go and stepping back, Sanem looks over her shoulder, seeing Deren's heading over. Her head turns back to him and then she yelps and grabs her ankle. "Oh! Ow! My foot! My leg! It hurts!"
Can catches her arm to steady her, frowning as she starts hopping. "What happened? Did I step on it? What - "
"Ow! My leg!" Sanem yells loudly.
