Aylin taps her pen on her notes as she watches Can and Sanem working, getting more and more bored with every passing second.

It was as if they were working in circles. They would agree, and then a minute later they would disagree.

It was a snoozefest if she was to be entirely honest.

They took forever to get to the good ideas and the constant flirting was driving her up the wall.

It ended eventually and she started paying attention again.

As she made herself some more coffee, she hears someone knock. For a moment she thinks it's her own front door but when she hears Deren's name, she knows it's not.

She stirs her coffee, watching the three just looking at each other - with Deren's eyes flitting between Can and Sanem, and Sanem's face set in blank neutrality.

Can blinks in question at Deren's intrusion and subsequent silence.
"Is something wrong? You're vibrating again."

Deren shakes her head, seemingly coming out of her stupor. "No, I - I just, er, wanted to see how things were going in here?"

"Oh you're not obvious at all, Deren," Aylin snorts with humor and picks up her cup, leaning against the counter with a small shake of her head.

"It's - " Can pauses then looks at Sanem. "It's going," he shrugs and leaves Sanem's side to walk round to his own chair. "As you can see. We're hard at work."

"Yes," Sanem agrees and taps the sketches in front of her with a smile.

Deren looks from Sanem to Can again and then clears her throat.
"Er, well, Can, we're all busy outside too, you know...and I thought that I'd come and ask if there are some things we need to know that can help us improve? Since our coordinator hasn't come out in over an hour to tell us anything, I thought I'd come and ask."

Sanem swallows visibly, looking a bit pale. She clearly forgot part of her job flirting with the boss.

"Ah, I see," Can turns his chair to Sanem, who is now looking at the wall behind him. "She's right here, Deren. Ask her yourself. Miss Sanem, what do you say to this?"

Sanem flounders a bit and blinks a couple of times, staring at him. "I - ? I have to - ?"

He nods, humming and fixing his necklace, sniffing.

"Right."

Deren turns to Sanem expectantly, who is looking at her as well with a frown.

"What is that you want from me out there exactly?" Sanem asks, looking confused.

"Feedback?" Deren gives her an incredulous look. "Answers to any questions we might have? Don't give me a question as answer to my question Sanem."

Sanem pouts and looks away at her work.

Deren sighs. "I apologize if it sounded harsh, but you are the leader of this project, and you need to come and give us feedback so we, as your team, don't have to do all the work over again when we're done and it's been done wrong or not according to your vision," Deren instructs helpfully, sounding less snappy. "I mean, that's part of what the coordinator does."

Can nods along, leaning back in his chair to look at Sanem.

"Oh," Sanem blinks and glances at Can before she clears her throat and looks at Deren again. "Well...uhm... everything is going as it should in here."
