"So you want to shoot a commercial here?" Mevkhibe clarifies as Sanem holds out the tray with cups of tea. Can takes one and smiles at her mother before glancing up at Sanem with a grin and nodding. "And this using the script Sanem wrote?" Mevkhibe looks at Sanem in surprise. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"It was very sudden, mom," Sanem gives her a little smile.

"A lot of things have been happening suddenly in our office lately actually. And sometimes at the wrong, even inappropriate times - " Can pauses, looking at Sanem again while she sips her tea and avoids his gaze. "But what can you do?" He shrugs and returns his attention to Mevkhibe. "We love chaos so we tolerate it." Talking about you here Miss Sanem.

"Yes," Sanem says and looks at him.

"Well, it's important for a person to love their work," Mevkhibe smiles and sips on her own tea.

"Very true." Can clear his throat and shifts in his chair. "Mrs Mevkhibe, I wonder if I can ask something?"

"Anything son," Mevkhibe says after swallowing and waits with a curious look.

"I was hoping, if it's not too much,  that you'd be willing to open your kitchen for us tomorrow when we come? We really liked it last week."

"Oh my goodness!" Mevkhibe squeaks excitedly and her hands go up to her face in surprise. "You did? Of course I will cook again!" she laughs and nods. "My kitchen is your kitchen!"

"Perfect, thank you." Can grins. "This is the best place for the shoot, if I'm honest, it reflects Sanem's vision." Sanem looks at him, her head tilted. "Which reminds me of something else. We need bedrooms. Four to be exact."

"Oh," Mevkhibe thinks for a second. "Well, we don't have four rooms here but the girls' rooms are big enough to fit two people? You can even use them if you wish? Would you like to take a look?" Mevkhibe gestures to the upper level.

"That would be great."

"No, you can't - "

"Darling," Mevkhibe looks at Sanem to shut her up. "Of course he can.  Besides you wrote this thing, right? It only makes sense to use your room. Let Mr Can look for himself." I hope it's clean in there. "The rooms are beautiful, so why not?"

"Mom, just because I wrote it doesn't mean it has to be my room. They can use the bathroom if they really want to use a room in this house."

"Don't be ridiculous."

"Mrs Mevkhibe is right," Can shrugs and Sanem's head whips round to him. "I don't understand what the big deal is." He looks at Mevkhibe again and smiles. "That said, with your permission, I'll gladly take a look." I might be pushing but Sanem's face is priceless right now. Ha!

"No. It's impossible," Sanem shakes her head. "Mom?" She looks at her mother beggingly, who is already getting to her feet with Can doing the same, setting his cup down on the coffee table. "Mom!" Sanem rises as well.

"Let me not get in the way, I'm going to go and buy ingredients for the food tomorrow!" Mevkhibe gushes, ignoring Sanem and hurrying out.

"Oh, no, there's really no rush," Can says, trying to stop her from leaving but also not really trying. "You have more than enough time."

"Mr Can!" Sanem calls as he heads down the hallway. "Your tea - Uhm, it's going to get cold." He ignores her and turns to go up the stairs. Where are you going? "My room isn't clean!"
She huffs in annoyance and follows Can, who is already at the top and pointing at the doors lining the top floor. Sighing, she shows him the right door before he nods and walks over to open it.
