Sanem made her way to Can's office with the contract folded in her hand, passing leaving employees.

Leyla steps out in her way when she sees Sanem's determined expression and stops her. "Sanem, where are you going?"

"Why are you still here?" Sanem asks in surprise.

Can's door opens and she puts the contract away out of instinct, hiding it. She watches him walk past behind her without a word and frowns. Perhaps now's not the time to show him the contract... She needed to talk to him first and make him listen to what she had to say.

"I'm worried about Mr Emre, he's not doing too well. Mr Can fired him and I just - I don't know, maybe he would want to talk...or just sit there and gather his thoughts or compose himself...I don't know."

"No one can help Mr Emre gather anything anymore," Sanem scoffs. "He has nowhere left to run."

"Sanem, why are you acting like this?" Leyla asks worriedly, putting her hands on Sanem's arms gently. "He doesn't deserve this attitude. He was already in a bad state, this is just going to make it so much worse. Be a little sympathetic."

Sanem closes her eyes and sighs silently. Oh I feel for him...hatred... "You know what, you're right," she says and looks at Leyla, "I'm going home now." She turns away and leaves Leyla to go and get her bag, shaking her head at her sister's blindness to Emre's true character.

Deren wraps her jacket around her shoulders as she steps out onto the sidewalk, stopping an approaching taxi. It pulls up and she gets ready to climb in, only to stop when the back door opens and Fabri gets out.

"Miss Deren," he says in relief and she blinks, staring in surprise.

"Senor Fabri? What happened? Did you forget something?"

He shakes his head. "I just received the strangest phone call regarding Miss Sanem," he says hurriedly, pointing at his phone.

"Sanem?" Deren asks, as confused as he was.

"Yes."

Sanem walks right into them on her way out at that moment and Fabri looks at her behind Deren.

"Oh, thank God," he beathes, glad to see her as he moves past Deren to go to her. "Miss Sanem, you're still here. Someone just called me. This man said he kidnapped my driver."

"What?" Sanem gasps, her eyes widening.

Deren's stares in shock next to her. "Yes, what?"

"He told me to bring you to him and then sent me this address."

"He said my name?"

"Yes, yes." Fabri nods. "Here, look."
He shows her the text message and she takes the phone to look closer at the address.

"Excuse me, am I understanding correctly? You said he kidnapped someone?" Deren checks. Fabri nods.

"This is close to my neighborhood, but I don't understand," Sanem frowns and shrugs, "Who would ask for me in exchange for your driver? I mean it - " She stops and groans, her mind going straight to the only person always asking for her and who was just stupid enough to try this. She closes her eyes and turns to Deren with a grimace. "Zeberdjet..." she whispers.

"Zeberdjet?!" Deren stares at her and nods, only to frown a second later. "Who's that?"

"Zebe - What?" Fabri looks at Sanem for an explanation too.

"He's just some guy. He had a very difficult childhood. He grew up a few houses down from me and he's always been obsessed with me, but he's not dangerous, I promise," she pleads for him to understand. "He's just a little off balance. I'm sure that this must be a misunderstanding on his part."
