"Maybe we should rent out a space? What do you think? Book it and decorate in her favorite color?"

Osman looks up at Ayhan while he's seperating the meat into two containers.

"Call some of her friends over from the agency and surprise her?"

"I like it, it's a good idea. People will come from around here too."

"And we can call Mr Can. Maybe?" Ayhan shrugs. "It will be a good  surprise and they can make up."

Osman hesitates. "Yes, but will he be willing to come?"

"I don't know," Ayhan frowns. "It's worth a shot though, right?"

"Alright. But how are we going to call him? Do you have his number?"

Ayhan chews on her lip a moment and then she grins. "JJ! JJ can help us. Let me call him." She takes out her phone and Osman chuckles, shaking his head at her obvious excitement.

"Yes, hello Ayhan?"

"Hello JJ, how are you?"

"Good. You?"

"Good, good. Uhm, I actually called because I want to ask you to help us. Is Sanem anywhere near you?"

"No, but she around here somewhere. I can look and give her the phone?"

"No! No, don't. She can't know I called."

"She can't?" JJ's voice lowers and his next words are a whisper. "Ayhan, what are you doing? You know I don't do well with secrets and covert missions...Don't do this to me, I'll end up in the hospital again...None of you seem to understand...No, I don't want to hear any more. I'm hanging up."

"It's nothing bad, JJ, please don't hang up on - "

"What are you looking at me for?!" JJ suddenly snaps on his side and Ayhan jumps a little. "Look elsewhere! Sorry, that wasn't meant for you, Ayhan."

"No, no, I know...Uhm, I don't know if you know but it's Sanem's birthday tomorrow, that's why I'm calling."

"Oh...Oh, really?" He clears his throat. "Would you look at that?"

"Yes, er, this is what we need your help with...See, we want to tell Mr Can that it's Sanem's birthday. We're hoping he'd come and surprise her and they can make up."

"Brilliant idea. Makes sense I guess... What exactly is it you want from me?"

"You have to tell him."

"Me? Oh. Alright. Sure, I can do that. Consider it done."

"Thank you JJ. See you later! Bye!"
Ayhan grins at the screen as she ends the call and giggles. When she looks up, Osman us staring at her, his eyebrows raised. He blinks a few times and she shrugs. "He's telling him."

"Great," he sighs and nods at the containers. "Now help me or we'll never finish."

"Okay."

Just before she can start she hears Muzaffer's voice outside and pops her head out the door. "Everything is about to change around here, mark my words!" he laughs.

"Aunt Mevkhibe? Muzo? What are you doing? And why are you walking like that?" Muzaffer had Mevkhibe's hand gently in his like she was royalty.

"Come on, hurry Ayhan. We're going to a meeting with the board of districts. Aunt Mevkhibe is a running as candidate for chairperson of the neighborhood," Muzaffer calls over his shoulder while they keep walking.
