"I like that idea!" Can points at Adem. "We can talk about how we present it." He sips his third cup of tea and holds up a hand. Adem high fives him awkwardly and Can moves back to the head of the long table.

"Can," Deren whispers next to him, and he looks up from checking Guliz's notes. "Fabri's here." She directs him to look at the door but he just nods. "I'll go and talk to them?" Can stays quiet again and she gets up, walking out and smiling at Fabri in the hallway with Mine and another man in a suit. "Hello, welcome, please come with me," she greeets and waves for them to follow her.

"Thank you," Mine smiles at Deren, who glances over her shoulder at Can looking up fleetingly and back down.

"You seem busy," Fabri notes, looking at the open boardroom as well.

"Oh we're just doing something for a new client. You are just in time, by the way."

"Great," Fabri nods and looks at Mine. "Mine?"

"I need to get some documents from your finance department." Mine says to Deren and she nods, then Mine turns to Fabri again. "I'll settle that while you're busy?"

"Of course," Deren smiles when he nods for her to go ahead. "Songyul, show Miss Mine the way to the finance department please?" The receptionist that had brought them in, takes Mine and the man with them through and Deren clears her throat before looking at Can inside. "Can?" she calls and he looks up. She waves him to her with wide eyes and he puts down his tea, saying something to JJ before he comes out.

"Let's go to my office," he says coldly without looking at Fabri or stopping to shake the man's hand, walking past both him and Deren with his back ramrod straight down the hall.

"Well, good luck. See you later," Deren smiles at Fabri anxiously.

He nods, his lips pursed, returning a stiff smile before he follows Can and Deren goes back into the boardroom, looking worriedly at the two men then closing the door.

Can leads the way across the bridge, feeling on edge and his irritability skyhigh.

As soon as they step inside Can's office, with Fabri moments behind him, Fabri says, "You disappeared again last night, Senor Can."

Yes I did, Can scoffs silently as Fabri stops in the middle of his office.
"Yes, I left early. So what?" Can asks, closing his door and stepping closer.

Fabri shrugs, a small smirk on his face. "I didn't see Miss Sanem much longer either. Peculiar timing, don't you think?"

"Not really."

"She wasn't feeling ill was she?"

"That depends on what you view as Sanem feeling ill."

"I don't follow," Fabri frowns.

"Sanem isn't the kind of person who likes being put on the spot. She moat likely felt uneasy with the situation and decided to go home."

"Mi scusi," Fabri's eyebrow lifts. "Put on the spot?"

"Yes, when someone does something without her knowledge and expects her to just accept it. She doesn't like it. At all. And neither do I, for that matter." Can looks right at Fabri, putting his hands behind his back. "See, I know Sanem very well. I mean, I was engaged to her."

"I just wanted to surprise her," Fabri says innocently. "That's all. I thought she would like it. It urned out really well if you ask me."

"There's a difference between surprising someone and confronting them, Mr Fabri. Maybe look that up in the dictionary before acting next time."
