"Good morning," Can greets Mehmet as soon as he walks into the lobby, taking off his glasses.

"Mr Can, good morning. There's no one here yet, shall I make tea?"

"Okay, I'll be in my office."

Mehmet nods and puts down his jacket. Can sighs as he walks through across the bridge. Indeed, the office was still empty and deserted. He slows down, glancing around but then he walks faster, shaking the strange feeling of emptiness that came from the usually lively office. He was very early after all.

Outside in the hallway, five minutes later, as he was taking tea to Can, Mehmet runs into Deren on her way in.

"Good morning, Miss Deren. You're here early. Just like Mr Can."

"Mr Can came?"

"Yes."

"Is that for him? Give it to me, I have to talk to him anyway." Deren takes the cup from him. "Here, take this to my office." She hands him her purse and jacket. "Thank you."

Can is staring at nothing, just tapping his black stone on his desk, thinking about the book Sanem left him and wondering why when Deren enters with a wide smile.

"Good morning," she chirps and he looks up.

"Good morning."

"You're very early today." She puts the cup on his desk in front of him and he nods.

"I couldn't sleep and I didn't feel like staying at the house any longer."

"I brought your tea."

"I see that. You didn't have to, but thank you."

"No problem." He pulls the cup closer and takes a sip as she looks down at him before she sighs, her smile dwindling. "Can, you look very sad. I'm not used to seeing you like this. I know you don't like us being  partners with Fabri," Can glances up at her, pursing his lips, "but, believe me, it's the right decision in the end. For the future of the agency."

"Yes," Can says after a few seconds of looking at his closed laptop. "I agree, and that's the only reason I agreed to work with him," he pauses and winces. "We need to get the agency back on it's feet as soon as possible though, so we can stop working with him."

"I have faith that you will be able to do just that soon enough. The main thing is for you to not worry. I'm always with you, any support you need, you can count on me."

"Thank you Deren," Can smiles a little. He really appreciated her friendship.

Deren nods and smiles back before holding out her arms and dropping them. "Well, then I'll get right to work."

He looks at his tea as she turns and walks out before pushing the cup away and sitting back in his chair, his hands in his lap with his eyes on the wall across his desk.

Emre sat on the deck outside as Aylin passed him with various breakfast items. Each time she did, he was still in the same position and she sighed quietly as she put the last plates down.

"Emre," she takes a deep breath and turns to him with a smile, "I made such a nice breakfast, you're going to love it. Why don't you come here my darling?" He stays put. "Emre?" He doesn't move. "Emre, what's with this long face?" she huffs in annoyance.

He finally glances at her and then away again as he answers, "We're going to pay for everything we did. There's no way out."

"Darling," Aylin walks over from the table, "maybe try and live again hm? I mean, you have nothing to worry about. We have the contract thanks to you getting Leyla to work with us. She's on your side. Try to enjoy the small victories."
