"So, are you satisfied with everything?" Emre checks again with Nuhir and his secretary after their coffee, now back in the lobby.
"We are yes. Thank you."
"Great, great," he smiles and nods, looking up after shaking their hands when he sees Metin coming up the escalator. "Ah, right on time. This is Metin, our lawyer."
"Emre."
"Hi Metin, come here a second."
"Hello," Metin shakes their hands.
"Selma."
"Nice to meet you."
"Onur, pleased to meet you."
"Likewise."
"Will you give us a few minutes?" Emre asks them. "I'll rejoin you in a bit, okay?"
"We'll be inside."
Emre nods, smiling at them, a hand raised as they turn and walk away.
"Metin," he claps Metin's back and. "How are you?"
"Good, good, you?"
"Fine. Did you bring the contract?"
"I did, but I can't go through it with you now, I'm in a hurry."
"Of course, sorry for disturbing you to come here, but it was important." Emre waits while Metin opens his briefcase.
"No, it's all good. I know that. By the way," Metin adds as Emre gives the Organette contract a quick once over. "I drew up the other contract too. I'll send it over after my last checkup tomorrow okay?"
"Sure," Emre answers without looking up.
"Listen, er, Emre," Metin glances around quickly. "Emre?"
"Hm?" Emre hums, looking at him.
"Be careful around Aylin," Metin lowers his voice. "She's dangerous, so just," Metin sighs, "stay away from her completely alright?"
Emre smiles at his friend's concern, closing the contract. "Don't worry, I can handle Aylin. Thank you for this Mertin. See you around."
"Okay," Metin purses his lips but nods. Just as Emre starts to leave though, he stops him again. "Wait, I almost forgot, I have the reports for your mother with me. Contracts and what have you." Emre turns back to him. "But I'll talk to you about that later."
"To me? Why not Can?" Metin looks down and Emre's eyes widen slightly. "My brother doesn't know about this?"
"Emre, Can becomes a raging bull if your mother's even mentioned," Metin raises his shoulders in defeat.
"Metin, what are you doing?" Emre asks, looking him over. "Didn't Can say that while he's in charge our mother can't know anything about what happens with the agency? This will destroy both of us if he finds out."
"What should I do? Your mother's a shareholder Emre, she has a right to know. She didn't push it when Mr Aziz was here because she didn't have to, he kept her in the loop but since Can came everything changed. He's keeping her in the dark and she doesn't like it. I'm stuck between my best friend and a woman I respect and both sides are burning me."
"Then don't stay there Metin. Stop sending her information and keep what you've already sent to yourself. You know my brother." Metin nods. "I have to go. I'll see you."
"Bye," Metin sighs, closing his eyes and hanging his head back before he turns and goes back down the escalator.
Neither men was aware that Aylin was standing just around the corner eavesdropping. She steps out and smirks. Gotcha. You're done Mr Metin.
