"This one."
"No, that one."
"This one?"
"No go back."
"This - "
"Yes." Sanem points at the picture Can scrolled back to on the laptop and grins, nodding.
"Sure?"
"Yes."
"Not the next one?"
"No?" She frowns and looks at it again and then rolls her finger. "No, go back."
"Sure?" She nods and he sits back, shrugging. "Okay." He looks it over and nods. "I think it's better too." He leans forward and looks at her in awe. "Despite the fact that you're new at this, you have a good eye."
"Imagine how good it would be if I actually studied photography," she beams and winks at him.
"Imagine," he agrees and pulls his shirt away, feeling hot and bothered by how sexy her knocking it out of the park like this was.
Sanem plays with one of the discarded slogan prints in thought and chews on her lip. "So, uhm, you met Gamze at university?"
"Wow, that's a sharp left turn." Can eyes her in question, turning in his chair from airing himself out. She doesn't comment and he sighs. "Yes, we studied at the same university."
She nods and pulls her lips in, her brows lifting slightly. "Hm," she hums. "Meaning you were close," she mumbles to herself, her eyes on the prints.
"We were close yes," Can having heard her not so quiet mumbling, nods and shrugs. "But only because I was a close friend of her boyfriend."
Sanem's head lifts and she sits up, looking at him with newfound interest. "Gamze has a boyfriend?" she asks too excitedly and sets her features back to normal quickly.
"She had one," Can nods. "Past tense. I was very close to him, but he went abroad, she didn't want to follow so they broke up. He's still one of my best friends actually."
"Ah, so, you were only close then because of him? Okay..." she nods and smiles to herself.
"Hm hm."
She lifts the slogan to her nose and breathes an elated grin into it, looking at him through it giddily before she lifts it into the air over her head. "Got it," she whispers.
"Do you now?" Can grins, unable to help himself and shakes his head. Sanem was obviously still burning with questions and he felt like things had to be cleared up before she got any worse. The jealousy was cute and all but he didn't want her thinking anything was going on that wasn't. "I'm going to just answer the question you can't seem to ask me, alright?"
"What question?" Sanem blinks.
"The one that's been tormenting you since Gamze showed up."
Sanem lifts her shoulders and shakes her head, her eyes too wide to be innocent of any thoughts. "I don't know what you mean, Mr Can."
"Hm hm," he narrows his eyes and sniffs, his elbows on the desk. "Gamze and I didn't date, Sanem." Her eyes widen more and her mouth opens. "Ever."
"Wha - " Sanem snorts. "Oh my God, I didn't - " she stutters, "Why would you find it necessary to tell me that? I mean, I wasn't even thinking about that at all."
Of course not, it's not like I know you or anything. "I don't know," Can shrugs. "I guess it looked to me like you had some questions that you just couldn't get out, so I helped."
