"I'll get out here, thank you," Leyla says to the taxi driver as he pulls up outside her house and she sees Osman walking down the street as she gets out. "Have a nice night." She closes the door he stops, seeing her as well. "Hi Osman. How are you?"
He crosses the street to her side. "Alright Leyla, how are you?"
"I'm sorry, Osman, I wanted to call you back and I completely forgot. I was with Mr Emre. I couldn't answer."
"Oh, it's okay. It wasn't important," he shrugs. "I only called because uh, I wanted to ask how he was doing. Is he alright?"
"He's fine. He's been released and he's resting at home. I looked after him today. I just came from there."
"Why were you looking after him? Where's Miss Aylin? Isn't she like his girlfriend or something?"
"Mr Can took Mr Emre home to his house this morning. And he doesn't want Miss Aylin around Mr Emre or the house, so she's not allowed to look after him."
Osman snorts and shakes his head. "And Mr Emre just accepts that does he? Just like that?"
Leyla lifts her shoulders. "I think Mr Emre's starting to see the truth now, Osman."
"Ah," he puts his hands in his coat pockets. All of a sudden, huh? What a miracle. But then I wouldn't mind Leyla being my caretaker either. The truth my ass...
"I'm a little tired, Osman, I think I'll go to bed now."
"Okay."
Leyla leans in and kisses him on each cheek, he doing the same to her. "I'll see you some time."
"Goodnight."
"Goodnight Osman," she smiles over her shoulder and starts looking for her housekeys. He watches, sighing and fisting his hands in his pockets. He waves once as she opens the door. "Goodnight," she says again and shuts it, locking it behind her.
Of course, he closes his eyes. Stupid Osman, very stupid...

Sanem opens her bedroomdoor just as Leyla rounds the corner five minutes later, coming up the stairs.
"Sanem, how are you? I haven't seen you since this morning."
"I'm good. How's Mr Emre doing?"
"Good. He's feeling much better." Leyla lifts a brow and mirrors Sanem's folded arms. "How's Mr Can? Could he live through the day with the guilt?"
"He's good, and yes, because he's not guilty, Leyla. I hope Mr Emre thinks about his actions and what pain it's caused while he's resting," Sanem smiles sweetly, narrowing her eyes.
"Hm."
"Hm," Sanem nods in return and then continues on her way to the bathroom, glaring at Leyla over her shoulder until Leyla closes her bedroom door and Sanem closes the bathroom door.

"I know that you feel hurt and betrayed and saddened because of it. Yes, he's disappointed you and the agency, but I think, in the end, he's learned from what happened. At least I would like to hope so. And even if he didn't, everyone deserves a second chance, Can. Especially if it's family. You just have to be willing to give it. You have to be willing to listen to him."
Can blinks, taking a deep breath.
Sanem's words to him at the hospital was nagging him in the back of his mind. He was willing to forgive Sanem, but could he forgive Emre for doing way worse than Sanem ever did? She at least hurt only him, but Emre hurt the entire agency and their family.
